Congratulations on a great victory Nov. 4, and thank you for everything you contributed to the campaign to elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Yes we did!
The election is over, and the Kalamazoo Field Office of the Campaign for Change has closed, but our work did not end with the election. Campaign volunteers in Kalamazoo are organizing to continue the important work we began with the election of Barack Obama and to help fill the void created by the closing of our regional field office.
Our mission is to build a stronger community by opening the political process to all residents and engaging all residents in that process. Our initial activities include community building, supporting election reform and voter education. Many of our voter registration efforts took place in low-income and college neighborhoods with very high turnover, and we recognize the critical need to mount new registration campaigns in advance of each local, state and national election.
We invite members of community, neighborhood, college and special-interest groups throughout Kalamazoo County and Southwest Michigan to help us begin building a new unified regional network by joining ObamaZoo-Kalamazoo for Change.

Through this group, we can share information about ways to be involved and contribute locally and regionally to the continuing Campaign for Change.
Best regards,
