FYI, Cuba,
100% of fly fishermen I know (thousands) want to fish for Tarpon on Cuban rivers. They all sight their desire Visit Cuba with the purpose to Smoke and Drink Cuba unique products all while there is no (0%) change to Cuba’s architecture/culture/infrastructure in-fact everyone I have ever talked to about Cuba in past does not want Cuba to change. These individuals are imagining Cuba from a sort of physical historical “Romanticized” cultural standpoint un-polluted by/with America’s familiar and predictable cultural/Corporate /items and institutions. Traveling Fly Fisherman spend more money domestically and international when traveling than any other group I can think of; in other words Cuba would be a great excuse for Americans to spend money on the American economy in preparation for a Fishing trip to Cuba.
