Well Maria and Ginnie have done such a great job in Iowa. I figure its time to throw a few Oregonians at the good State of Nevada that will be holding its caucus on January 19, right after Iowa and New Hampshire.

Well I finally got the "go" from Nevada HQ.

On January 4th, the day after we win Iowa, and on January 5th, my wife and I, and our two boys, will be helping the campaign in Reno, Nevada. Its about 5 hours from where we live in Oregon, but we are all very excited to be able to help Barack on the ground in the early States.

But its even better than that. I haven't seen my Mom in over 2 years. I think I inherited my political genes from her. She has been helping out with Barack's campaign in Arizona. Anyway, my Mom is making the long trip to Reno to see us and her grandkids, and I'm sure will help out a bit with the campaign too. So I'm pretty excited for a lot of reasons.

See how Barack brings people together? We'll have 3 generations of my family helping Barack win in Nevada. I can't wait.

I hope the rest of you bloggers can find an early state like Nevada to help out in, even if it is just a few days. Visit the "Action Center" and get er done!

That is so awesome that you will have three generations in Reno! I'm hoping to go with my son and daughter. What is really special is that she will be voting for the first time this year! And, of course, she wants Mr. Obama to win! She's really excited about all that's going on in the Obama campaign. That's why I'm really hoping that we can make it!
