Will Senator Obama consider lending his voice to that of the US government and the European Union, who have joined in condemning irregularities in the recently concluded presidential election in Kenya? A statement from him demanding for both peace and a political outcome that reflects the democratic will of Kenyans would put pressure on the Kibaki regime to back off from their media and security clampdown, and permit press freedoms and freedom of assembly to quickly return.
