The first debate made it very clear, didn't it? I couldn't be with friends at the moment of the debates but I texted with a few throughout the event and we were all unanimous in our high opinions of Obama. He was respectful to McCain's disrespect. He was engaged when McCain refused to look up. And he was substantive while McCain continued old, emotional, illogical scare-tactics that won't work anymore. They better not. Oh please, don't let them work.
After the debates, we gathered to plan for a Tacobama Blowout. Sure, call it a house party. Call it a fundraiser. Call it what you will. We're getting together, and we're inviting friends, family, neighbors to the house to get some buttons, eat some tacos, make some window signs, and listen to some rock n' roll. That's right.
