Dangerous Christian Hypocrits & Repulicans Inciting Violence

You Name It - John's Done It! If You Like Palin, Inciting Extreme Violence to Our Failing Economy - He's the Guy for You!Sarah Palin is named as one of the deciding factors in the WA Post's endorsement of Barack Obama yesterday, Congratulations to all of you who knew from the beginning that she was a dangerous addition to an unstable man's bid for the most important office, perhaps in the world!
I know I am preaching to the choir, but did you see that ridiculous interview in which McCain had the audacity to tell David Letterman that Sarah Palin was fully qualified and ready to step into the presidency? I just can't stand it!!! I do not want to believe that she is actually a candidate for anything. She is an embarrassment. What happened to a country founded by the best and the brightest of the times? I want my leaders to be smarter than I am. And all this conjuring of Joe the Plumber and Joe Sixpack stuff that comes from McCain's camp of the most wealthy in perhaps the world, is disgusting.
John McCain using these images of real or imagined Americans for his agenda is like rape of the middle class. John McCain who has never voted for any legislation to help the middle or lower economic class Americans is telling us about the average Joe. The party who fights for the programs for the disappearing middle class are not evoking these imaginary friends (has McCain had Joe the non-plumber for dinner and discussed the fact that Joe wishes to abolish taxes all together in a heart to heart talk, or has McCain ever talked to a Joe Sixpack outside a town hall meeting?
Cindy McCain did actually start a charity once but then took the pain killers that were to be sent to people in real pain. This may have been an indication of how painful it really is to live with John McCain, but, stealing pain killers from her charity was probably not the way to cope with it.
My son recently returned from Germany where, as in most countries around the world, they love Obama. My son was there for a class in his MBA program, but the Germans wanted to talk about Sarah Palin. They are appalled by her. They were so bewildered that they kept asking my son (who laughs and says he obviously looks like an American because they approached him with questions) WHY? How could America not be humiliated? Of course my son is a democrat and was a precinct leader at home but he said he was embarrassed. How can an American respond to how Sarah Palin could be in any form of U.S. politics, much less, the VP slot. The world is laughing at what an idiot she is and ponders how anyone could vote for McCain for a myriad of reasons, with Palin as the most obvious.
John McCain, who no longer cares for this country, accustomed to his buying power and affiliations with the richest of our country, after failing in the past is even more determined to become our president at any cost to Americans. So, to show his quest for power and his disdain for our country, he picked a radical right wing nut who would stir his base of radical Evangelicals who trust no one who they have decided are not qualified to be raptured. These wildly judgmental religious hypocrites who stand as accusers of Barack Obama, calling him a liar, are so far removed from Biblical teachings that they are in opposition to the Bible in general. The chant, "Kill him" or screams of "Treason" are not what you would expect from a "Born Again Christian" crowd! They are poster children for the word hypocrite and they make a mockery of their faith. What examples for their children that they drag to these hate rallies where they can hear the hate speech spewed by the masses of God fearing, church going people who are the self appointed judges of the standards of morality and decency while calling for death. What would Jesus have said about that?
Barack Obama has never had an affair or cheated on a disabled wife. He has not threatened to switch parties when angered by losing a race. He has never been found guilty of abuse of power, nor has he ever been rebuked, censured or otherwise admonished after a Congressional ethics investigation. Both McCain and Palin have!!! And as for associations, McCain "pals around with G. Gordon Liddy. Now a conservative radio talk-show host, Liddy spent more than 4 years in prison for his role in the 1972 Watergate burglary. That was just one element of what Liddy did, and proposed to do, in a secret White House effort to subvert the Constitution. Far from repudiating him, McCain has embraced him. What nerve for McCain to evoke the name of Bill Ayers who Barack Obama never embraced and repudiated his actions when McCain's associations are so dirty.How close are McCain and Liddy? In 1998, Liddy's home was the site of a McCain fundraiser. Over the years, he has made at least four contributions totaling $5,000 to the senator's campaigns -- including $1,000 this year.Last November, McCain went on his radio show. Liddy greeted him as "an old friend," and McCain sounded like one. "I'm proud of you, I'm proud of your family," he gushed. "It's always a pleasure for me to come on your program, Gordon, and congratulations on your continued success and adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great."
But then John McCain wants to talk about his distortions of Obama's associations because he can't talk about the main issue on everyone's mind - the economy! The current economic crisis demands that we understand John McCain's attitudes about economic oversight and corporate influence in federal regulation. Nothing illustrates the danger of his approach more clearly than his central role in the savings and loan scandal of the late '80s and early '90s.
John McCain was accused of improperly aiding his political patron, Charles Keating, chairman of the Lincoln Savings and Loan Association. The bipartisan Senate Ethics Committee launched investigations and formally reprimanded Senator McCain for his role in the scandal. Today, John McCain is the only major party presidential nominee in US history to have been rebuked, censured or otherwise admonished after a Congressional ethics investigation.
At the heart of the scandal was Keating's Lincoln Savings and Loan Association, which took advantage of deregulation in the 1980s to make risky investments with its depositors' money. McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating with federal regulators tasked with preventing banking fraud, and championed legislation to delay regulation of the savings and loan industry -- actions that allowed Keating to continue his fraud at an incredible cost to taxpayers.
When the savings and loan industry collapsed, Keating's failed company put taxpayers on the hook for $3.4 billion and more than 20,000 Americans lost their savings. John McCain was reprimanded by the bipartisan Senate Ethics Committee, but the ultimate cost of the crisis to American taxpayers reached more than $120 billion.
The Keating scandal is eerily similar to today's credit crisis, where a lack of regulation and cozy relationships between the financial industry and Congress has allowed banks to make risky loans and profit by bending the rules. And in both cases, John McCain's judgment and values have placed him on the wrong side of history.
A note to Sarah:
The next time you hold a hate rally, perhaps you should talk about the real domestic terrorists (many crying out for murder right in her adoring crowds), or the ones who actually do associate with capital criminals, or how the hell we got into this financial disaster (do you know what deregulation means?) or which party lacks morality? You should be clear who you are talking about. When you screech about who has had ethics violations and abuse of power or was reprimanded by a congressional ethics investigation and association with domestic criminals, you can place yourself and your running mate as the centerfolds. Do what the Bible says, Sarah. You should, as a sinner found guilty of abuse of power, NOT CAST ANY STONES, lest you have the blood of the INNOCENTS on your hands by your own inciting of persons professing to follow the Christian faith.
It may be hard to recognize a good Christian with all the screaming and name calling and cries to "kill" around you, but take another look. Barack Obama is a good and decent Christian man and his Presidency will honor us all.
