I think Barack Obama has a clear vision of where he wants to go. I'm not sure what McCain wants to do other than keep relying on war and oil to keep us going like we have. I would think that he would have learned something from Hillary Clinton's campaign. Yes, negative ads will give you something, if nothing more than keeping Obama from running away with it. What neither Clinton or McCain understand, in my opinion, is that this year that won't be enough. We all know that voter registration is way up and we all know why. My cause for real hope is that I just can't imagine someone saying, "I've never been interested in voting and politics before, but this year I believe it is so important, and I'm going to become informed, get involved, and then get swayed by a negative ad to vote for the same old thing."
