McCain is a nightmare

McCain is jumping all over nuclear power and oil. Is it just me, or is this guy the embodiment of battles that have been faught for more than 30 years between uncontrolled capitalism and environmental concerns? He's becoming a parody of himself. Where is the McCain who just a few months ago really was being a maverick in his party and talking about global warming? Thirty years ago, we could afford to piddle around. I'm with Al Gore, now it's really time to stop this nonsense and DO SOMETHING! It is absolutely living in the past to even be talking about a gas tax holiday or off shore drilling. I feel Al Gore's frustration. Many of us are not taken seriously, only to be proven right later. The stakes are so high, being proved right later is not enough.
