The Obama campaign today released a new 30-second television spot responding to the McCain campaign’s latest misleading attack ad. The new ad, entitled “Low Road,” draws the clear contrast between McCain’s Bush-style politics—false attacks and failed policies—and Barack Obama’s plan to provide real relief to consumers and help America move toward energy independence.
“Low Road” opens with a list of fact checks of McCain’s recent litany of false charges—with outside observers calling his charges “false,” “not true,” and “the low road.” The ad goes on to outline Obama’s substantive energy plan:
