I wanted to be a crab
Task didn't seem so drab
Victims I will just grab
And go on sting and stab

I wanted to be an eagle
Be friends with a beagle
It seems so much legal
Flying free in air is regal

I wanted to be an octopus
But nearly missed the bus
Made a lot of useless fuss
Was a minus, not a plus

I wanted to be a scorpion
Everything would be done
Poisoning others lotta fun
I will be inferior to none

I wanted to be a shark
My bite worse than bark
Will gobble just for a lark
Leave a permanent mark

I wanted to be a vulture
Tearing humans, my culture
I am a deadly mixture
I will be a lasting fixture

But my dream remains a dream
Some day a reality it may seem
