It has become clear that Barack Obama is having trouble with the hispanics, working class white, and women voter. Bluntly reffred to as the Hillacrats. I know many supporters of Obama hate the thought of Hillary even being thought of being considered as the Vice President nominee but the fact of the mater is she got 18 million votes, and this races is as close as your finger nail on your finger. You can not deny the power of the people when it is this close period. Especially when Sentator Obama has stated and promise that he will be a new type of Politican a Politican of the likes of Honest Abe, who by the way picked his political enemys as cabitnet members. The Democratic Party is at the verge of a historical point that can change America for ever but this can not be done "CAN NOT BE DONE!" without unity. United we will stand or divied we shall certainly fall. These are the options at hand there is'nt any more. We can not lose the sight of victory over pettyness, if this is so then a question most be posed why not have the dream ticket? Many say that it will bring back the clinton years. That is just a punch of horse stank and everyone knows it. The media loves Obama thier is no denying it a recent poll tells that Obama's over covrage is bringing a negative effect because Americans are tired of hearing about the Senator. The only bad covrage that Obama has had is with Rev. Wright and lets face it once he gave that race speech everything was erased from that conterversy in the media eyes of course except fox news. The point is the media wont hate on Obama if Clinton is on the ticket if they have not thus far. Obama needs a fighter so he can stay above it all the Clintons are fighters they dont back down. If you give the Hillary supporters their Hillary as VP the polls will shoot up for Obama over night the excitment would be a explosion of joy all would ralley to Obama and the two armys would be united. The froce unstoppable the Clintons know that they are the key to Obama winning or loseing with her on the ticket that grantuees that they must help Obama. Think of the vision of America with the two most beloved names of politics running together Obama Clinton. Folks it cant get any better then that, thats Gold. The Hillacrats feel they need Hillary to be vp to get on board i say give it to them. One thing the Clintons knoww is politics and if they get behind Obama and help him their legacy will be better for it. Lets make every one happy lets make history for if Hillary is not on the ticket the utter disappointment will be unbreable and Hillary supporters are not a given. One last point, some say oh they will be force wants they find out what type of judges John Mccain will put on the courts. Dont forget the saying hell has no feiry like a womens scorn remmber who makes up most the voters in the general. The word that Hillary supporters are saying is we can give the Dems the congress but we dont have to ive them the White House. Dont mess this up Obama team put her on the ticket like Obama said himself and i qoute to the best of my memory "We need the Clintons and we need them despartly." So Mr. Obama what will it be? Will you Chose the fighter women you need despartly or will the old politics of get back and grudges influnce the choice? As the Democratic Nominee the ball is in your court. I think the Vice President will be a big part of who is President this year i predict it, but the choice is you'res sir so choose wisely.

"There's no way to predict the real impact of Latinos in the 2008 race, but the campaigns are actively courting the voting bloc. In Thursday's poll by the Pew Hispanic Center, 66 percent of registered Hispanic voters say they support Democratic nominee Barack Obama while 23 percent stand behind Republican nominee John McCain."

Now this should put the "Obama's working class whites problem" meme to rest. Buried in the new Washington Post poll is a startling number:
"But even among white workers -- a group of voters that has been targeted by both parties as a key to victory in November -- Obama leads McCain by 10 percentage points, 47 percent to 37 percent, and has the advantage as the more empathetic candidate."

Poll Shows Women Voters Favor Obama Over McCain
The race for women is not decided yet, although women voters are giving Obama a solid lead, but neither candidate has over 50 percent of the women yet," Lake said. "Forty-nine percent of the women polled said they support Obama, 38 percent are supporting McCain and 10 percent of women are undecided."

As a female voter I am promoting a female vice president:
Caroline Kennedy would be an awesome choice!!
She has the history, but not the baggage. Her family has a history of service to the United States like none other. Everyone knows what happened in the story of her daddy JFK. She graduated from Radcliffe with a B.A. in 1980, trained at Sotheby's in art, and graduated from Columbia Law School with a J.D. in 1988. She married Edwin Schlossberg in 1986. They have three children.

I agree that for the sake of unifying the party Obama may have no choice but to select Hillary to be VP. I believe Hillary would turn it down because it would kill her chances of being President. The Clinton would be like a government in waiting, and seeing that everything the media digs up on the Clintons seems to stick, and the media would always have a place to go to sow discord in an Obama Administration. Hillary would not (not want to?) fend off the idea that she is the more qualified person to be President.
Look at what has happened:
Once she fell hopelessly behind in pledged delegates, instead of being magnanimus, her campaign set out to damage Obama going forward. How did she do this?
By creating an air of illegitimacy around Obama's victory, which McCain seized on the very night Obama crossed the finished line in delegates. If you go back to how the campaign unfolded, neither she, President Clinton, or any of her surrogates ever actually campaigned against John McCain during the primaries!
She signed a pledge not to campaign in Florida and Michigan and she should have taken a deal from the DNC to split the delegates in both states up front. Senator Obama may yet choose her, but it could not look like her campaign was forcing him into it. Hillary is a polarizing presence, especially when you're for independent voters, which, when all is said and done, is whate this race will come down to.
It is tantilizing to imagine the potential juggernaut that an Obama-Clinton ticket would be. The propaganda about "fawning" media coverage is ridiculous, and the fact that Hillary supporters have join the republicans in pushing that storyline further damages Hillary's ploitical future. What Clinton supporters fail to understand that has President clinton is boiling about right now: Among African Americans, Hillary is already finished as a serious candidate. The more her supporters push this "put her name in nomination, maybe something could happen," fantasy, the more she's being hurt among African-Americans. She's already toast amongst the base of the party. Her supporters are undoing the work she's trying to do to get back into the good graces of the base. Americans.
