The New Mexico Campaign for Change is going to host a series of Hispanic policy roundtables and veterans tours around the state in the coming weeks.
The Gov. went on to stay:
"We will bring together Hispanic leaders from New Mexico and beyond to traverse the state, listen to the concerns of the Hispanic communities and deliver the message of change – change that Barack Obama will deliver for New Mexican families."
Joining Gov. Richardson were State Auditor Hector Balderas, Santa Fe County Commissioner Virginia Vigil, Speaker of the House Ben Lujan, and Santa Fe Mayor David Coss.
The crowd of 120 people was encouraged to sign up to phone bank and canvass, because it’s up to us to own a piece of this campaign and reach out to voters to win this election in November.
The Gov. also told the crowd:
"You will decide if we want a President who will stand up for Hispanic families all over New Mexico and the country or whether we will have 4 more years of the same failed Bush policies.
The address for the new office is: Santa Fe – Zafarano Office 3494 Zafarano Drive, Suite B Santa Fe, NM 87507
Please stop by and check out our new digs (and sign up to volunteer), and check out some pictures from the event...
