Dear Readers:
I would first like to say hello to anyone that has recently been added to my friends list. As you can see, I am currently trying to build a large list of contacts to facilitate my need for attendees for events. I am currently working on a bit of a project that will hopefully include live entertainment and lots of Obama support.
In this new political climate where the internet can play a vital role in bringing out the votes, I would like to encourage all of you to do the same. It is partially our fault if our candidate of choice does not get into office, so let's take some responsibility!
In each of my blog posts, I will be focusing on a single issue vital to the Obama campaign. Today, I will talk about ethics in Washington...
I believe the Libby trial is an example of this. It is now believed that Libby was a scapegoat for the White House to cover up information leaks. This is inexcusable. As voters, we need to get out there and change things for ourselves. We only have one option, unfortunately, and that is to elect a candidate that will carry out our will effectively. It is my firm belief that Barack Obama is the only potential candidate with the strength to rule the White House with the wants and needs of the people in mind. Good politics is no politics and that is what Obama embodies.
At the end of each of my blog posts, I will be asking a question that deals with the planning of events. Once I get some input, I will strive to include these things in any events that may occur with me at the helm, or any others I may volunteer for.
So, readers, my question for you today is: How do you like the sound of the Indigo Girls?
