Thanks to the hard work of patients and doctors across the country, both the U.S. Senate and House passed the bill to stop the 10 percent Medicare payment cuts that took effect on July 1—unfortunately, the President just vetoed this important legislation.

I'm concerned about the constant cycle of Medicare cuts to the doctors who treat senior citizens, like my parents. If these cuts go into effect, many doctors may be forced to stop seeing Medicare patients. All patients deserve access to health care, so I sent a message to Congress.
