Good Day Sir,

On behalf of more than 300 nos. DISABLED persons of this life-time Shelter Home, please accept "Heartiest congratulations" on your unprecedented victory in Presidential Elections.
Sir-- a dream , for the last 200 years--of millions of people in USA & countless people in the world--has at last ,seen-the light of the day, at the auspicious moment of your victory---signifying the continuing revolution of the blacks & the browns of the whole world.. In essence, it was a long-awaited dream-come-true, for the people, around the world.
We, Indians, have an additional reason to cherish this moment of your victory. It reminds all of us about the SATYAGRAHA movement, started by the Messiah of Peace - the Father of the Nation-Mahatma Gandhi, in the early 20th century in South Africa - against the Emperial rule for the liberation of the oppressed and deprived - the black & brown population - i.e.- the native Africans and the expatriates from India and other South Asian countries.In our view, that revolutionary movement did not culminate on August 15th, 1947, the day India won its INDEPENDENCE, rather it was going-on, in the global perspective. May we add here- that your Victory is another milestone achieved-in this continuing revolutionary movement.

Back in India, we can proudly say that all Indians are over-joyed on your victory. Infact, we Indians see it -- as beginning of a new revolutionary era -not only in USA & not only for the Americans--- but( we believe)-- at the world level and for the entire human race. That would bring about a revolutionary change in the world politics as well---for the overall benefit of all the people of this world. Such a change was long awaited by the people--- in different nook and corner of this world--- who are lesser priviledged and deprived.

May we add here , that not only the Americans, but people from all over the world , including your admirers in India -- eagerly look forward to your showing a new direction to the whole world .

We Indians, take pride and appreciate your admiration for your faith / belief in the Indian Religion We believe , as the days go by, it will only become manifold and will enhance your moral-- -

strength-- enabling you to come-out with flying colours from DAY ONE in the WHITE HOUSE.

Your views and concern for the under - previledged is praiseworthy. We pray to Almighty God that you continue to have a deep sense of concern for them and for those who are deprived of even the basic facilities .You will agree that such people are the ones, who need help, the most.Needless to say that a little concern shown for such persons , from the While House, will certainly bring about a sea-change in their, otherwise , meaningless life We are more than sure that you will be, too willing, to extend all possible help and shall not disappoint them.

To introduce ourselves :-In India we are a Non-Governmental Organisation, at a small village Ambodia, which is 15 K.ms. away from the holy and historic city of UJJAIN in Madhya Pradesh the centraly located State in India, SEWADHAM ASHRAM, means - a Home or an Abode providing Shelter and Service. Inspired by the preachings and the selfless service provided to the lesser priviledged / deprived / helpless by greats like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Baba Aamte, this Ashram was established by in 1989 by its Founder - Director Sudhir Bhai Goyal - who gave-up the affluence/ luxuries and an assured future life , being born in a rich - business family. It provides life-time shelter to :-

(i) aged parents and persons-- disowned and abandoned by their own.children and relatives.

(ii) Children- suffering with Down Syndrome and orphaned. There are some children, abandoned just three days after their birth through stepmotherly treatment.

(iii) Mentally ill / retarded with Cerebral Palsy / with Autism /Psychiatric persons and with multiple disabilities.

(iv) Destitutes/ Lepers

(v) Oppressed women & unwed mothers

(vi) HIV/AIDS patients from hospitals and homes

(vii) Shelterless / helpless / sick & injured / maggots- filled wounded- bodied persons lying on roads / at public places / Railway station / Bus stands / etc with stinking bodies-- whom people, in general ,do not even- from a distance - care to talk with - rather prefer to stay away from them

Please allow us the liberty to request you--- that ,whenever you come to INDIA, please do make it convenient ot visit our Ashram. We are sure that you will appreciate our efforts in serving the sufferings of the humanity in varied forms. Along with 300 in-mates who are disabled, and 50 number staff and caretakers-- wish you as well as pray to Almighty God--- for your successful tenure in the White House. and to continue to have inspirations for a bright and successful future . At the same time please accept our condolences for the untimely demise of your loving grand mother. We know that she was very close to you and had a great influence on your up-bringing. We are sure that she would have been very, very happy to come to know about your victory in the elections.
