One week ago America lost one of its best, Tim Russert. I never met Tim, never knew anyone that knew Tim and Tim did not really change my life in any profound way, but he did have a place in my heart. Tim was the face of the first political election I payed any attention to. I was only twelve years old in November, 2000 and could not vote but I was a very avid Al Gore supporter. It was the first time in my life that I was allowed to stay up past 1 A.M. on a school night and I spent the whole night watching Tim and his white board.
