People talk about Barack Obama's ability to reach even the most unlikely of supporters. Republicans, high school students, 99-year-old Iowans who have never caucused in their life. Well, now it's confirmed:
Even the Grinch is voting for Barack Obama.
OK, the Grinch's animator. Meet Tom Ray!
Tom was one of the five animators who created "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" back in 1966 (which was incidentally a favorite of Senator Obama's as a kid.) In addition to the Grinch, we can also thank Tom for being part of the team that brought us Daffy Duck, Tom & Jerry, Yogi Bear, and a smart-aleck, Brooklyn-type rabbit known to most of us by the name of Bugs.
Back in 2004, Tom recalls his wife Brenda was watching the DNC convention in 2004.
"Tom," she said, "you have to come and look at this."
He came and had a look. Barack had just begun his now famous DNC speech. "And I just fell in love with him -- like so many other people who watched that speech, and the many that have followed -- I was swept away."
Tom has never gotten involved with a Presidential campaign, but he says this one is different.
"I can't go another four years shaking my head," Tom says. "And no other candidate can hold a candle to Barack. He will simply make a wonderful President. He's balanced and likeable -- and sharp. That's what I like. He's sharp."
When Tom and his wife first got in touch with us, they asked, "Can anyone endorse Barack Obama?"
Well, yes they can! And we're proud to announce that Tom Ray endorses Barack Obama for President of the United States.
Happy holidays everyone...we hope you got in at least one viewing of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"
And of course, please share your own endorsements in the comments below...

This is a comment I found in dailykos on this poll. Probably the poll is paid for by Clinton campaign. Sample Size: 600 completed telephone interviews among a random sample of likely Democratic caucus goers living in Iowa (505 Democrats and 95 no party (independent) voters). That's a DEAD Giveaway right there. I worked in Political Polling for four years. A completed call is a call that is accepted by the CLIENT who paid for the poll. Only select demographics were counted. That could mean if the person answered just one question wrong, the computer will not accept their survey and the call is not completed. They did that crap with George Bush and John Kerry . If a person did not make a certain amount , or they did not own a home , the survey was not counted because it came up as not completed. Pollsters do this all the time. This poll is total BS. They may have made over 1,000 calls, but they take out the responses of demographics that the client does not want and only report what they do want. I can confidently say that for sure , this poll is BS.
" The New Hampshire-based American Research Group's tracking poll ended up buried deepest in the snow bank: They had Bush winning by two the day before the primary, merely 20 points off the mark. On the Democratic side, the losing pollster at least got the winner right: The Quinnipiac poll predicted Gore would win by 17 percentage points, but he actually won by four. It was the second debacle for ARG in as many New Hampshire Republican primaries. The day before the 1996 contest, ARG's Dick Bennett told the Union Leader, "It looks like Dole's going to win," based on the Kansan's seven point advantage in their tracking poll. He didn't, losing to Pat Buchanan by a single percentage point. "
