SAN ANTONIO, TX
—Senator Barack Obama hosted a town hall meeting with Texas veterans today at the American G.I. Forum’s Veterans Outreach Program, a transitional facility for homeless veterans in San Antonio, to talk about his commitment to combating homelessness among veterans and pledged a zero-tolerance policy for homeless veterans when he is President.
“We need to have zero tolerance for homeless veterans,” Obama said. “On any given night in America, while we go to sleep in our homes, there are hundreds of thousands of Americans who have fought for our freedom who go without their own home. Veterans make up 11 percent of America’s adult population, but 26 percent of the homeless population. Already, we are seeing homeless vets from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s just not right. That’s just not who we are as a country.”
Obama, who sits on the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, has passed legislation to expand and improve services for homeless veterans including increasing rental vouchers to bring homeless veterans off the street, expanding treatment for veterans with mental illnesses, and facilitating transfer of property from the Veterans’ Administration to homeless shelters. Obama has also introduced the Veterans Homelessness Prevention Act – a bill that would provide supportive services like mental health counseling, financial planning, and job training to ease the transition from military service to civilian life and prevent veterans and their families from sliding into homelessness.
“There is a U.S. military principle that we all admire: leave no one behind,” Obama said. “That’s the principle that we need when it comes to homeless vets. That is what I have fought for in the Senate. And that is why I have recently introduced the Veterans Homelessness Prevention Act, so that our vets have the skills and tools that they need to build a life after their service. This is not a partisan issue. This is a moral obligation. When I am President, we will not leave any of our veterans behind.”
As President, Obama will maintain a zero-tolerance policy for homeless veterans. The Obama plan would:
Increase access to long-term, affordable housing for veterans and their families
Focus on preventing homeless by targeting at-risk populations with housing supportive services
Expand rental assistance programs to get homeless veterans off the streets
Create a Special Assistant for Veterans Affairs within the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
In addition to his work on veteran homelessness, Obama has compiled a track record of standing up for veterans on a range of issues. His accomplishments include:
Obama passed legislation in the U.S. Senate to improve care and slash red tape for our returning wounded warriors and their families who face deplorable conditions at places like Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Obama passed a bill to give family members health care while they care for wounded troops and introduced legislation to provide them a year of job protection, so they never have to choose between caring for a loved one and keeping a job.
Obama passed laws to provide comprehensive supports to homeless veterans.
Obama led a bipartisan effort in the Senate to try to halt the military’s unfair practice of discharging service members for having a service-connected psychological injury.
Obama passed an amendment to give recovering service members free meals and free telephone calls at military hospitals.
Obama passed legislation to stop a VA review of closed PTSD cases that could have led to a reduction in veterans’ benefits.
Obama passed an amendment to ensure that all service members returning from Iraq are properly screened for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Hi everyone,
I am a foreigner and can't vote, but since I lived in Dallas for several years, I emailed my friends there to try to persuade them to vote for Barack. The text said, "Tomorrow is another day! But not just any day; it's election day. I was wondering, have you made up your mind about the candidates? Since you were undecided a while ago, allow me to give you my arguments for Barack in a nutshell: 1. natural wisdom, which I think beats political experience; 2. interest in diplomatic rather than military solutions; 3. capacity to unite people of all categories; 4. a certain authenticity, grace, and style that other politicians lack.
I hope you don't mind the above. I just admire this candidate very much, and I wanted to help as I could since my enthusiasm can't really translate into an actual vote...to my great chagrin. Good luck with your decision, and know that I will respect it regardless of your choice tomorrow."
That's it folks. I hope my emails will persuade or at least make my friends give more thought to their choice.

I work at NYU Medical Center, and also work at the Veterans Hospital in New York.
Whenever I go there, I see victims of the war in Iraq. Many of these veterans are suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
While some of the best neurologists in the world assist these veterans, many from NYU Medical Center, there are still many unknowns in the treatment of this injury.
I applaud Senator Obama's stance to screen every veteran for TBI, and to ensure that they get prompt and appropriate treatment. This is the least our country can do for our veterans.
It still pains me to hear of a soldier who enlisted to serve in Iraq because of 9/11. I honor their sacrifices, as they try to right a wrong that affected me deeply.
All of our lives were changed forever on September 11th, 2001. God must have been watching over my wife and myself, since we both worked in downtown Manhattan. I worked on the 103rd floor of Two World Trade Center, and my wife's office was one block from the World Trade Center. Both of us survived that day.
I made a film about my experiences on that day, which was entered into a film festival last summer.
Link
A friend of the family for 16 years, Felicia Dunn-Jones, was caught in the dust cloud that enveloped lower Manhattan on that awful day, succumbed to sarcoidoisis on February 10th, 2002. She is the 2,750th victim of the attacks on the World Trade Center.
I know Felicia would have supported Senator Obama in his quest to become president, and so I am asking that you donate to the campaign in increments of $27.50. $2.75, $7.50, or any amount that you can afford.
Your donation will honor the memory of Felicia Dunn-Jones, a hard-working mother of two children, one developmentally challenged, who suspended her law school education to raise her family, eventually completing her degree and going on to become a civil-rights attorney for the Federal Government, much like Senator Obama.
A slide show of the Staten Island September 11th Memorial can be seen at the link below.

Donations over $5.00 will receive a DVD of my film.
Please donate whatever you can to honor the memory of Felcia Dunn-Jones.

Thanks for posting this, Jim. You've linked several thoughts together the way Senator Obama did when he ended the Town Hall in Parma, Ohio, by linking into one answer themes that were common to questions asked by three people in the audience.
We've got to demand that our returning military veterans receive proper examination and treatment.

Everyone lets please keep working hard in whatever way we can! Please keep donating, phone banking, canvassing and doing whatever you can! I have a personal fundraising page where I am attempting to raise $1,000 in small donations. Can you help me meet this goal?
Link
I have personally donated $140 to this campaign, but I do not have much money and cannot afford to donate anymore at the moment, but thanks to many wonderful Obama supporters my fundraising page has received over $600 in donations, can you help me reach my goal of $1,000 before March 4th by making a donation now?
Link
I particularly would like to get more young people like myself involved, Did you know Hillary said that work is a four letter word to young people? Lets prove her wrong! Even if you cannot afford to donate much why not donate $1 (cost of a Coke), $5 (a couple slices of pizza) or $10 (a ticket to a movie)? This small donation shows our strength in numbers and is how we will win the election!

If you recall the media played up Wisconsin the same way, they said the weekend before the same things they are saying now. Obama has money, boots on the ground (military terminology), and people on the phones, Obama does his best when there is a large voter turn out (the larger the better) so the door knocking and the calling is about getting people motivated to get out and vote.
The polls are based on old democratic tradition and do not reflect the way people are going to vote on Tuesday. The only thing we can do is donate, call and take people to the polls (those in tomorrow's primary states) up till late tomorrow afternoon. Then we will know the real rsults and can forget the polls which everyone seems to do quickly.

He is also opposed to a mandate (like the one in Clinton and Edwards' plans) which would require many Americans to pay rates that many could not afford.

I can't call today because of thi silly thing called work, but my thoughts are with those who are.

Worrying is the past, Hope is the future.
Positivity
know the MSM is trying to come down on Barack today cuz they think the drama will help their ratings.
But like Barack said, change doesn't come easy.
Here is my positive voice.
I am a woman, disabled since I was 16 yrs of age. I am now 33.
I have followed politics, off and on since I was a teenager.
NOW, Today, is the most hopeful I have ever been about my country in my entire life.
It is because I believe in Barack, but it is even more because BARACK believes in US.
Please if you truly support Barack, make those calls, donate, talk to people, leave positivity everywhere you go.
If for whatever reason you haven't yet been able to call or donate, please make a commitment to let your voice of hope to be heard.
Tell your story here, even if like mine, it is only a couple of sentences.
Don't ever give power to any doubts or worries you have. It is a CHOICE, please choose positivity. Fear begets fear. LOVE begets LOVE.
I Believe in my heart, that Barack (we) will do great tomorrow, He'll (we'll) do great in the general, and he'll (we'll) be a great president.
But, it doesn't stop there. We all will be with him working for change, every step of the way.
Please add your beautiful voice to this chorus calling for change.
Love to all, Amor para todos!!
We are unstoppable!!!

I know people are suspicious of Zogby definitely after CA. If you go to Zogby International website they apologize and explain why they were wrong for CA. It is important to point out that Zogby was the only one that got GA right by the amount that Obama won. As a pollster I like Zogby because he takes chances with his sample and tries to really predict what is going to happen. SurveyUSA and many of the national network polls play it conservative and base their samples on turnouts from 2004. So as polls go I would say Zogby is one I would look at.

The reason polls have so often been wrong in this primary season is because turnout is so extraordinarily unpredictable this time around.
Which means:
IT IS ALL UP TO US! It is truly up to us, Obama's supporters, to make sure we have huge turnout in Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island and Vermont tomorrow. Call, canvas, talk to friends, family and neighbors - this is what will make the difference!
YES WE CAN!
Turnout was what gave us those unexpectedly huge wins in Maine, the Potomac, and Wisconsin. And turnout is what will win tomorrow's primaries for Obama.
If undesirable poll numbers help to put more fire under your behind to get out the vote, more power to you! But I think that for others, posting your worries on these blogs can be discouraging, so I would encourage you to spend more time calling (and canvassing if you're in one of those states voting tomorrow) and less time getting people worked up over something as unreliable as polls.
Thank you all so much for volunteering, you're the best!

If it isn't already obvious to many of you our boards have been infiltrated by people from Hillary's campaign for the several last weeks.
All of you need to take a step back and stop worrying about all the ridiculous Canadian NAFTA posts and the Survey USA polls for Ohio.
The NAFTA story is FALSE and it has already been dealt with by HQ and I am sure they will continue to deal with it.
Hillary has used this tactic every day before a major primary.
Don't worry. We're doing great. :)
But I would suspect that many of you on here posting (even some of you loyal followers) haven't made any phone calls today.
That should be your first priority before responding to negative rubbish being spread by worry warts and Clinton supporters passing themselves off as Barack supporters.
Here is a wake up call about polls:
STOP READING THEM AND STOP POSTING THEM...PERIOD!!!!
They are meaningless and have been for quite sometime.
I would also like to add that many of you are getting caught up in the MSM's spin that Hillary can somehow make a comeback if she wins Texas and Ohio.
Its simply not true.
She would need to win by 60% margins in all four states to even come close to tying with Barack in the pledged delegate count.
So, calm down and stop spreading all this fear and negativity on the boards.
I am going to post this non-stop until all of you chill out.
Barack is doing EXTREMELY well right now (and this is coming from a pessimist by nature).
You want to help the campaign?
Make some phone calls.
Donate.
If you see a negative attack/story email HQ at watchdog@barackobama.com
Post links that show Barack's incredible record in both the state senate and the U.S. senate.
Talk about his years as a community organizer.
Discuss his Blueprint For Change.
Encourage people to make calls.
Speak to family and friends in states that are getting ready to vote tomorrow.
We will win this thing.
Stay positive.
We're almost there.

Matthew, you are absolutely right. After reading some polls, I was feeling very depressed, thinking what has happened to our campaign that we have lost so much ground.
They are just polls-and I know that they can be accurate or at least close. Some say that Obama's up and some say that he has dropped as much as ten points.
Regardless, I will continue to work for my candidate as much as possible. Can't call now-at work. Haven't been able to call due to the flu, but I can donate and encourage everyone else.
It's not over till it's over-and it's not over till he's in the WHITE HOUSE. . .and even then, it's not over because we have to accomplish all that we need to do to make this country (world) better than it is!
Our campaign, our president, our country, our world!

I expect we will win all four!

A little off topic but I just left this comment on the Cafferty File where the majority of comments agree that HRC should bow out if she loses 1 or both States tomorrow....
If Hillary loses one or both States tomorrow, I would recommend they refer back to the Clinton's "Law of Politics!" for some motivation. It TRULY is a great philosophy....
As said by President Bill Clinton:
"If one candidate's trying to scare ya, and the other one is trying to get you to think; if one candidate's appealling to your fears, and the other one is appealling to your hopes, then you better vote for the one that's telling you to think and HOPE! That's the best!"

Hillary has staked her campaign on Texas and Ohio. The voters in Texas and Ohio have a historic opportunity on Tuesday. By giving a resounding victory to Barack, they can end the politics of division and distortion within the Democratic Party!
Texas and Ohio have the opportunity to go down in history as the two states that closed the book on destructive politics within the Democratic Party! And from there, we can get on with the task of changing the entire country!

Hey, not to sound like a broken record, but this allegation about privately contracted security is all over Democracy Now and other similar channels.
It will be an issue that Barack probably should address sooner rather than later, as the more liberal factions will be more prone toward defecting to HRC, as she gave a prompt reply regarding this matter:
Link
Love your friendly neighborhood finger-on-the-ultra-liberal-pu lse-person
P.S. I argue with everyone I know that he has a campaign to run, and while I realize that HRC has more time to kill here... perhaps this could be clarified -- not on the board, but in the same public fashion that HRC has -- for the liberal-concerned public.
I'm not looking for much of a conversation here, but hope someone who speaks with HQ or Obama's campaign WILL bring this up. I believe he could easily clear this, and that he won't commit to using private contractors and that this has been decontextualized and opportunistically used by HRC to bolster her anti-war rhetoric.

Guys,
I just made some calls a few minutes ago and the people i reached were all positive and voting tomorrow in Texas. One thing i liked was when i reached an immigrant and she happens to be from Iraqi!
she wasnt the person i was supposed to reach but here we go, she started to talk to me about her situation in the country and the reason she supports Obama, she is thrilled to be here in America and would like her country to be free from any occupation.Luckily for her, my work was cut out, she was like the whole family with whom she lives with are Obama crazy and she was like..the lady of the house, husband, daughters etc were all voting for Obama tomorrow. so let's keep the phones ringing!

Have Greeters at EVERY polling place in Ohio and Texas tomorrow...especially with homemade Obama signs.
I worked a small rural precinct in Virginia...in the sleet and cold, holding my "Vote Obama" home-made sign....from sun up to close of the polls (with a break in the middle to do some GOTV calls). I KNOW I helped change some of those undecided minds...cause I WAS THE ONLY PERSON SUPPORTING ANY of the candidates at my poll. No Hillaries, McCains or Huckabees. And the results? 67% for Obama (in a very RED county) for my precinct.
I had several people come up afterwards to tell me they had voted for "my guy."
When you are the last person they see...and you're the ONLY poll greeter there...it helps to make up minds.
So don't just focus on the big precincts with greeters. Have people at the small polling places too.
Because standing for hours in the rain or shine with your sign DOES make a difference.
Go Ohio & Texas. Vote Obama!

This is a awesomely complete plan, and should give hope to many.
In particular I note with interest this:
"[I will create and appoint a] Special Assistant for Veterans Affairs within the Department of Housing and Urban Development."
I presume, based on where it shows in the list, that this would be to help with making housing options available. This is the right start with the right person!
I also think that maybe the concept could be expanded to 'liaison' positions in Dept of Ed, HHS (or whatever it is called now), and all other cabinet level activities. Or it could be handled by a single office (of more than one person!) in a streamlined VA.
As with Homeland Security stuff, the issue is that there must be better communication on needs and the present availability to meet them - the right hand and left hand need to know what the other is doing, and work together.
This is so on target; as a vet I salute Obama for getting the dialogue started on a comprehensive program for our (once) uniformed personnel. And I know there are retired vets who would love to be part of this effort!
Go Obama!

Thanks so much to everybody who has been volunteering, you're the best!

To the worriers out there, Obama has outperformed every poll since Super Tuesday. EVERY SINGLE ONE. The reason for this is that the polls are basing their demographics on historic trends and underestimating young voters, first time voters, republicans and independents. So don't worry. Usually I get really nervous before these primaries/caucuses but for some reason I am not this time. I think he will do well. (Prayer helps) Also, her negativity has angered quite a few people in the party. For example, it looks like Richardson might be leaning Obama's way (I could be wrong, but it looks that way).
At this point, because HRC is so far behind in the delegate count and popular vote, I think she is trying to sabotage Obama's campaign now by slinging as much mud as possible to make him vulnerable in the general election. She appears to be trying to set herself up for a 2012 run. By the looks of things, she won't throw her support behind him if he wins the nomination. Of course, she'll put on a show, but she is just as bad as the GOP. A real WOLF in sheep's clothing.

Barring a Huckabee miracle, the Republicans will probably finally have a nominee after tomorrow, McCain.
I am worried that we will still be bickering over this primary regardless of tomorrow's outcome (unless Hillary loses both OH and TX). As a result, people may start to lose interest. I'm afraid all those new voters (1st timers, new democrats, Republican crossovers), will lose interest and our movement may stop moving come November.
I doubt most people want to see this go on through Puerto Rico with the same bickering, and the same (televised) debate topics and the same Clinton nastiness. HO HUM.
It's like she refuses to give up for the good of the country after losing in 11 landslides in a row, and if she can't have the throne, no one else can have it and she'll bring Obama down with her.
It baffles me how many Americans are just so afraid of change and progressing to the future that they need to hear "remember the good ol 90's" and use that as a crutch. We're supposed to be a PROUD country and should be moving forward NOT backwards.
But you know what, if Clinton damages the democrats so much for Nov, then fine, let her have the bottle, so she and her cronies can lose it as the standard bearer. Obama can still come back in 4 years (and i will still support him) because 4 years of McCain is not much different from 4 more years of Clinton. Her penalizing universal healthcare package will NEVER pass, her vague NAFTA policy will still be the SAME, her foreign policy will still be the SAME tactics that hasn't accomplished too much since (i have to admit...) Reagan stood up and met Gorbachev, or when Kennedy went to the Berlin Wall, or Nixon to China. Clinton, you claim to be tough but you're not tough enough to lead our country by meeting with rival leaders, afraid these little people with big mouths will overpower you and use you.
HO HUM.
I cannot support anyone who feels the need to step all over our hopes and dreams for a different direction for the future. I hope the race ends tomorrow, or maybe we should all just turn off our TV's and wait til the day after the DNC convention to turn them back on.

The Canadian Consulate in Chicago called a University of Chicago economics professor to ask him questions. Then one Canadian turned around and wrote an email to say whatever makes Senator Obama looks bad.
Why? Just because someone else can benefit from such a story.
Don't let them fool you. Keep up the great work.

Hi all
I'm watching Oprah - taking a break for a minute, and I need to say that it is truly awesome.
Its all about giving- and showing the need for ambassadors to help feed the children in Africa.
just $50 can feed ONE child in Africa- for the whole year.
And all I can think is how amazing Obama is going to be for Africa- having family in Kenya- having his finger on the pulse of the needs of Africa and therefore of the World.
How amazing this will be to have such a globally minded President!
Now lets keep up the good work these next two days for all those around the world.
and donate for those in need in Africa to the World Food Programme!

Senator Obama stay PAT in the face of Clinton's game.
Be PAT!
The only message I have now for My candidate is to be presidential at all times. No more "if I am the nominee" but rather "when I am the nominee."
No more focusing on Hillary's shinanigans and being liad back in the reponses. Hit back hard and simply apologize for being forced to do so.
Focus on Bill's quote for 2004 about voting for the candidate who wants us to "think and hope" and take it as a blatant endorsement by her husbdand of your candidacy.
Call her the liar she is
When she says Rezko, you say Peter Paul.
When she says you are trying to coneal something aske her fore her tax returns.
When says you didn't hold a committee meeting due to campaigning point out that campaigning and being "busy right now Tim [Russert}" is why she can't produce her tax returns and her First Lady calendar records.
It's not okay for you Barack to be busy campaigning, but it is okay for her? Rediculous. She wants to see the kitchen sink thrown your way I say show her the drain!
That's precisely where she and her abyssmal, mixed message, two-faced campaing belong.

I need just 58 people to donate a "minimum" of $10.00 to reach my goal. If you can donate more or less - any amount is appreciated. For those of you who have already donated- thank you!
Thanks for your support,

Everyone, let's stay above the fray. I believe the reason why many of us believe in Obama is because he is different from most politicians and does not resort to negativity and smear campaigns. We need to get that message out and see a politician that truly respects everyone and wants to bring everyone together, even if we disagree at times. I know I would still vote for Hillary if she were the nominee, but I am sure very disappointed with the tactics and the behavior of the past week. We now republicans typically do this stuff, I sure hope Democrats know better.
Now more than ever is the time for Obama. We need an honest, respectful, dynamic and "a respect for all people" president. The road may not be easy but it is the only right one to take.

Bless you, Paul. At that time, my husband was assigned to Ramstein AB with a civilian contractor (he is retired Air Force) and I had joined the Red Cross, in readiness to receive wounded soldiers. Thankfully, there was not the bloodletting we were led to expect, but it was bad enough.
Thank you for your service. Thank you for your support. And thank you especially for standing up for what is right.

As a fellow traveller, though from the McCain era, I understand your feelings and concerns. However, as I also learned in a place far away, that our enemy does not subscribe to the rules of civlized combat. Therefore, I compartmented my feelings and emotions and did what I trained hard to do.
I have no more compassion for my enemy now anymore than I did then. It is them or me, and that choice has been made. I (and MANY others like me) want someone to be the CinC who KNOWS what they are doing. Neither Obama nor Clinton is it.
I hope that you find your peace. I found mine in 1970 in SE Asia.

All the anxiety today brought to mind Winston Churchill - not a man I think of often.
It was May 1940. Britain had been at war for eight months, and was now standing alone against the Axis forces of Germany, Italy and Japan. France had fallen. It would be another two years before the first US troops would arrive. 226,000 British and 110,000 French soldiers had been pushed back to the beaches of northern France by the onslaught of Hitler's blitzkrief and only 19 miles separated England from certain invasion. The nation needed to be rallied. Churchill gave one of his best speeches that ended:
--- '... We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender ...' ---
Link
So, when you feel down, anxious or concerned, just remind yourself:
We will fight them in the cities.
We will fight them in the fields.
We will fight them on the border.
We will fight them in the canyons.
We will fight until every last vote is counted and every last delegate is assigned to us, for, to quote Churchill once more, "This is no war of chieftains or of princes, of dynasties or national ambition; it is a war of peoples and of causes ..."
And we will win!!!

Alright, well apparently, we've dominated early voting courtign some 60% of the vote. It's about 33% of expected voters.
For Clinton to win, she needs 60% of the hispanic vote, in California, which has a higher hispanic population, she only won 50%.
Voter turnout will likely be higher.
The polls PPP and Insider advantage are concentrating their polls in rural texas.
The same 2 polls had obama down in Wisconsin 1 day before the primary. Obama won.
Zogby has been the most accurate to date at predicting a winner.
Some good signs...
Every dem who has won the missouri primary has won the nomination.
In Taylor Co. Wisconsin, there has never been a time they haven't picked the nominees and president. Obama won 60% of the vote.

I checked out the PPP and Insider Advantages Polls, and I've decided that pollsters should be shot.
1) PPP says 70% of Hispanics will vote Clinton
--That hasn't happened in any contest yet
2) PPP says Clinton is winning the youth vote
--What planet are they from???
3) IA only polled 67 18-29 yr olds. 11% of their survery
--There's gonna be alot more youth voting
4) PPP didn't even list how many young ppl they polled, and it was 14% of their poll
--It's gonna be higher, the youth are voting
Survery USA (though Clinton biased)
1) 60% of youth will vote Obama and will make up 26% of voters
--I think the youth vote will be higher
2) They assume 64% of hispanics will vote Clinton
--Hasn't happened in any contest
--They say Clinto won the early vote and that Obama must beat HRC by 3% tomorrow. Not true at all, Obama dominated early voting.
Zogby doesn't offer the breakdown, but says that East Texas around Dallas and Houston will determine the outcome, not south texas. Good news for us.
Belo (Tied)
1) Polled almost 300 more people 50+ than younger people, an automatic bias to Clinton.
2) they have youth votes tied for Obama and Clinton. Which can't possibly be true.
My point being Let's not trust polls anymore. They can't even make an attempt at polling equal amounts of demographic groups.

Just updated the blog with the March 3rd *evening* content.
For those who don't know, my name is Cris and I'm a Cuban-American who supports Barack Obama.
I run a blog that compiles pretty much every major news article and commentary that comes out each day about Senator Obama. My hope is that it's a useful tool for those who want to keep up with everything going on in the campaign. I also periodically contribute my own commentary as well.
I hope this is helpful to everyone.

There is NO WAY that this man (or his opponent for that matter) have ANY clue about the military. Neither has served a day in their lives. He has no idea what road we have travelled to keep the ants off his candy --- so that he could make lots of money and give eloquent speeches about "change". He holds the military as a group that he has to acknowledge, but his efforts thus far in our behalf have amounted to zilch.
I would vote for Ralph Nader before I would consider wasting a vote on either him or Billary! In my lifetime (and I descend from 5 generations of career military), no Democrat has ever been a friend to the military (and that includes that peanut farmer from Georgia who got a high dollar education at the Naval Academy).
This joke has gone much farther than it ever should have.
