His speech was wonderful!

****OBAMA IS BACK****
That was the Obama I have been missing! He seemed energized and back on point! I was stating to worry about him. It seemed like the attacks and the "fake controversies" were getting to him. His message hadn't diminished but it seemed like his spirit was starting to. I am so glad and proud! I think we need to give Hillary the one, two punch. I don't know about you, but I'm going to donate in honor of my renewed spirit. Hillary "claimed" she got 10 Mill in 24 hours after her win in Penn, I know we can do better. I can't give much but I'll do my part. Come on Indi!!! I know you can deliver!

(repost in case you missed it)
How The Obama Campaign Changed My Life
Last month I drove the seven hours to Pennsylvania to volunteer for Obama. I was one of the 35,000 people cheering for Obama at the rally Philadelphia, and I canvassed in Harrisburg, Scranton and Reading. I returned home because I was painfully aware that I was spending my rent money on gas, and I just couldn't afford another fill up.
On the Obama blog, the night of the April 22 primary, I posted my regrets that I couldn't donate because I found myself $300. short on my rent. The next morning, an email shocked me. A fellow Obama supporter saw my post and offered to buy one of my Obama necklaces for $300. I was totally overwhelmed, since I was laid off and the job hunt wasn't going well at all.
As we emailed back and forth, her story really moved me. Born in Iran, she'd lived in England for many years before winning a visa lottery to come to America. She's the only Iranian I've ever known. She embodies Obama's message of unity, and the kindness she showed me, a total stranger, is something this whole campaign should be proud of. One of the major reasons she supports Barack is her staunch opposition to attacking Iran. I'll be devastated if Hillary gets a chance to "obliterate Iran" or McCain gets to sing his twisted song "bomb bomb bomb Iran" in the Oval Office.
So, I want to do more to get Obama elected.
In addition to the logo necklace Afsaneh wanted, I made two custom necklaces using a photograph I took of Barack in Philadelphia. One, I sent to the beautiful Afsaneh, and one, I've put up on ebay
Link
for Obama. 100% of the sale price of this one-of-a-kind necklace will go directly to Obama for America.

·:*¨¨*:· If you want to keep this wonderful "pay it forward" story going, BID! ·:*¨¨*:·

Oh, and yes, I paid my rent on time. It felt amazing.

I urge everyone to contact any super-delegate they can in their state, especially those states which Barack has won and let them know...it's time they pledge to Barack. I'm from Colorado and have let the Gov. know. I'm working on finding out who and how to contact the others. I'm so ready to have Barack run against McCain, we are ready to change this country back to what it should be. Barack has the vote of the "United States" not the "states" of America. So, no matter what state please contact those S.D's and urge them to vote for Barak Obama.

Ok don't jump down my throat too much for this, but think about what I propose here.
Although I very much want Senator Obama to win in Indiana, a win by Senator Clinton will be more beneficial to Senator Obama. How is that you ask?
Well;
• Indiana is a "small" state.
• Indiana traditionally votes Republican.
When Senator Clinton claims it as a definitive win, she will be conceding to two of our points that we have won more of the "small" states AND we have the potential to alter other traditional Republican states.

It's being pushed by the clinton campaign... harold ford is in the clinton camp and he is the one that I heard it from first. Now with the election not working out for her tonight she will push to have the ticket where she is on top. Then when that does not work, like last time, she will try to make it appear that he should have her as his VP in order to make the dream team. When that does not work she will have her supporters screaming for it, and the Fl and MI delegates, to make it seem as Barack is snubbing her.
The clinton operation chaos to split party so she can try again in 2012.

OREGON "UPDATE" |
Report to Admin
By
James Brown.....Proudly Voted For President Obama !
May 6th 2008 at 9:25 pm EDT
Oregon is voting already , we have 100% mail in ballots. We have been this way for 10 years or so and have this mail in thing down to a science. You can mail your ballot in , drop it into an elections ballot drop box "like a US mail box" , or you can hand deliver it to the county elections office. All ballots must be signed , and they scan the signatures to match the one on your voter registration. Plus we are a closed primary , only registered Democrats can vote.
Today i got to cast my vote for OBAMA and it was really an emotional experience for me. I took it over to place in a ballot drop box , and it was amazing how many people were backed up waiting to place there ballots in the drop box. There is a bunch of people getting there ballots cast early. On May 20th as soon as our polls close they will be able to call Oregon.
Almost everyone i know is voting for Obama , including 7 votes in my immediate family. Even my 73 year old "hardcore" Republican Sister changed her registration to vote for Obama.
Obama has 35,000 Campaign Volunteers to Clinton's 5,000 volunteers "State Wide".
OREGON IS OBAMA !

Thank you so much voters of North Carolina and Indiana! With your ballots, and with your hearts, you have told America and the world that the era of divisive, do-anything, say-anything politics is ending, that the era of red states and blue states are over, and that change is coming to the UNITED States of America with Barack Obama in the White House!
Everyone that worked so hard, staff and volunteers, in these two states, and in all the states before it, deserve our love and thanks for making this moment possible. We are so close to the nomination - and with more faith, and with more hard work, we will get there, and we will make Barack Obama the next President of the United States.

I will say this again, SHE'S Beautiful. That dress is NOT, it clashes with her husbands blue tie, and it pushes her abdomin out, which is not what women want to she when she's dressing.
She never dresses appropriately for any occassion and she needs a stylist. With that say, I think they make a good couple, but she can use a hair stylist and a designer to help her dress better and for specific occassions.

How can she continue this fight down as much as she is in NC and only holding a 4% and dwindling lead in IN? This is ridiculous and more about an ego trip than a presidential race. It's time the supers call the ball and put this thing to bed.
Obama understands the issues of the gas prices and that a tax holiday will not solve the problem. Hillary seems to continue to flunk math by just moving the tax up the line. In the end the oil companies will just raise the price to compensate. Yea, I want a brain like that in Washington. Even Alice Rivlin thinks it's stupid.

She should be wearing black, or blue to match his tie. She should not be wearing that bright orange dress the expose's her tummy at the bottom like that.
I love her, but she needs some help in the area of dressing based up on the occassion. I have seen her in many situations and OMG...she needs help big time in that area.

MartisaHussein4Obama, I have to agreed with you on this one tonight. Michelle has had her terrifc moments of dressing, but I didn't like her dress tonight for the same reasons. For her skin tone, the color peach works (I am the same skin tone), but the dress itself did not. It exposed her belly and butt to much. You know Sista's got the butt! She needs to stick with suits, be it pants or dresses. She has a model-type body, so she can work the suits. I would love to work as her Fashion Coordinator. She got a B+ tonight from me, but she was still lovely as usual.

I agree with you again. I have shoulder length hair like Michelle, but I cut it short becz of my facial structure(high cheekbones)too. It does make me look entirely different. When my own Dad prefers me with a short crop hair style, then I knew was on to something. And he is a minister :). Michelle is lovely either way, but a short bomb, would be sexy and chic....jazzy.
