Open letter to Senator Obama.

I am having numerous conversations with people with a surprisingly common, yet misconceived view. My daily encounters include people asking, " how can he remain for 20 years where EVERYDAY that preacher taught this hate?” It is my hope that you can zero in on, exclusively examine, and understand this mode of thought. People have the view that if you want a dose of hate, just go to this church on the south side, on any given Sunday, and you will get it. Please, realize this is a real, problematic, pervasive idea, which is manifest in media, and has implications.

I don't think the campaign addresses this abovementioned possibility aggressively enough. Furthermore, I think it would be unwise not to examine and explicitly address this very specific symptom. We value clarity from our leaders. But of equal importance, we must not ignore that certain experiences, namely yours, must be addressed with unambiguous clarity. If not, others can define those experiences.

I contend that we have abandoned the possibility of making a clear portrayal of what this church actually teaches, and that these most extreme instances in media are rarities of that church. It is my strong belief that this specific word – rarity – with regard to the conceptualization of the church, and the things taught daily, will have an effect. Or, if you feel another word suits your situation, so be it. More specifically, it challenges the view that because you stayed for twenty year your judgment is lacking.

Some in media (Pat Buchanan, Carlson Tucker) are mischievously making it look like this epitomizes your preacher's everyday message. This is crucial, and I think it contributes to popular perception. They convey that you stayed there for 20 years; yet, surprisingly, from the information they have, the first instance was in 2001.

5 percent of the vote changes elections. We must not be so tone deaf that we fail to recognize that prevalent is the notion this church preaches a message of hate everyday. It is my view that this inaccurate perception contributes to the framework of this issue, and I am witness to that.

I agree with you about your points. People are incorrectly assuming, because of the media barrage, that all of Rev. Wright's sermons were along these lines. The clips that they showed didn't even occur within the same year as far as I can tell. One of them was from Sept. 2001, one from Dec. 2007 and I'm not sure of the date of the third, although I believe it was July 2007 because the media types were checking Obama's schedule to see if he was indeed out of town during that time.

However, I do not believe Obama should mention Rev. Wright again himself. I believe someone else in the campaign, a supporter or a surrogate needs to mention this. Obama needs to move on to other issues and not allow the media to continually drag him into the mud. If I were him, I would never bring up the issue again. You will find that he won't have to because many in the media cannot give this up. It's like a "fix" that a drug addict needs and they love to push the button of racial discord.

I'm in agreement with Ian- I have faith in the American people, and large segments of the population are worried, misinformed or confused. My roommates parents are Democrats in Ohio and they echoed a similar sentiment "why did he stay there for 20 years if the pastor was spewing hate"- I watched the speech and I've given this campaign everything that I have, but this an issue that we cannot leave alone. Remind people of the Swiftboat campaign waged against Kerry- the swiftboaters were louder and Kerry lost, thus condemning us all to four more years of Bush. I've already seen commercials using Wright's comment- it's very disheartening but I have not given up hope. We have to fight back, with knowledge and truth. Senator Obama I hope you nip this in the bud, leave no room for doubt that you are a president of ALL people- we all know that, we all trust you, but for those who don't know you the controversy as of late can keep them from opening up to you. Please respond more forcefully. Fellow Obamacas and Obamacrats- we need to fight back with hope and honesty, we need to show that swiftboating will not be tolerated in this election, not this time. Then they aren't listening to Barack's words...these are the people that watch FAUX news and listen sound bites and the talking heads on 24 hour cable news instead of listening to the entirety of Barack's speech and doing research on his position on the issues.

Why didn’t Barack Obama refute the hateful and divisive rants of his church minister by leaving his church and finding a spiritual home somewhere else? What is his excuse?

You might ask yourself why the millions of Catholics that make their way to church every Sunday did not leave their church after the brutal revelations of centuries of physical and sexual abuse of little children whose perpetrators were protected by church administrators right up to modern times in parishes just down the road. What is their excuse?

You might also ask yourself why millions of Fundamentalist Christians still attend mega churches in the face of a string of fiery preachers who were found spending their spare hours with prostitutes in local motels. What is their excuse?

If church members have the right to hold on to the core beliefs of their chosen or family religion and stay in that community to repent and evolve, does not this same right extend to Barack Obama when reacting to the hate mongering of a single minister? Does he not have the same right to remain and seek change from within? Indeed, does he not have the responsibility to do so?

If you're truly interested in what was taught, not in finding an excuse to not support Barack, go to the Trinity UCC website and listen to the sermons in their entirety not sound bites. Otherwise, nothing you or anyone else says will change their mind. It's already made up.

Barack Obama this week gave the best political speech since John Kennedy talked about his Catholicism in Houston in 1960, and it derived power from something most unusual in modern politics: an acknowledgment of complexity, nuance and legitimate grievances on many sides. It was not a sound bite, but a symphony.
But the furor over the Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s inflammatory sermons shows that Mr. Obama erred in an earlier speech — the 2004 speech to the Democratic National Convention that catapulted him to fame.

In that speech, Mr. Obama declared that “there is not a black America and a white America... . There’s the United States of America.” That’s a beautiful aspiration, and we’re making progress toward it. But this last week has underscored that we’re not nearly there yet.

The outrage over sermons by Mr. Wright demonstrates how desperately we as a nation need the dialogue about race that Mr. Obama tried to start with his speech on Tuesday.

Many well-meaning Americans perceive Mr. Wright as fundamentally a hate-monger who preaches antagonism toward whites. But those who know his church say that is an unrecognizable caricature: He is a complex figure and sometimes a reckless speaker, but one of his central messages is not anti-white hostility but black self-reliance.

“The big thing for Wright is hope,” said Martin Marty, one of America’s foremost theologians, who has known the Rev. Wright for 35 years and attended many of his services. “You hear ‘hope, hope, hope.’ Lots of ordinary people are there, and they’re there not to blast the whites. They’re there to get hope.”

Professor Marty said that as a white person, he sticks out in the largely black congregation but is always greeted with warmth and hospitality. “It’s not anti-white,” he said. “I don’t know anybody who’s white who walks out of there not feeling affirmed.”

Mr. Wright has indeed made some outrageous statements. But he should be judged as well by his actions — including a vigorous effort to address poverty, ill health, injustice and AIDS in his ministry. Mr. Wright has been frightfully wrong on many topics, but he was right on poverty, civil rights and compassion for AIDS victims.

I think most of us wouldn't want our whole life's work and worldview to be judged by a few emotional statements we made. I'd love to see a wider perspective.

If you watched/read "The Speech" he answered this question directly. He talked about the good works of the church,(I am paraphrasing here) and how this kind of speech was not a common occurance. What he made clear, is that he knew the Reverend's background, what he had lived through, and understood , but did not agree with his feelings. Please encourage people to listen to the speech, think about it in its entirety, not just the "sound bites" that are being repeated time and time again on the media. These people that you are talking to are forming their opionions based on what pundits are saying. I would hope that Obama supporters would not make such a tragic error!!! They are trying to keep this story going, nothing that Barack can say will be enough. This is cycnicism at its worst!! I am insulted that people could take such a norrow view of such a profound, historic speech.

let`s put it this way. i use to listen to the conservative talk shows, and i consider my self a republican conservative. i am a bush fan and support the war in iraq. BUT i am for obama for the president of the U.S. (i will explain why som other time). therefore when they started to hurt my feelings about barak Obama, i just turned off the radio. i belive i am not the onle disappointed listner.

so why shouldn`t WE learn to say noooo noooo noooo to the radio ant TV when the hurt our feelings.

I LOVE IT that they've posted Barack's "bracket" selections for the NCAA men's basketball tournament! But, as native Hoosier and an IU grad, I've gotta say that I was really hoping that Indiana would make it past the second round. LOL!

1) Obama started campaigning about 15 months ago, Hillary started about 15 years ago. Obama built his superb organizational machine from and with nothing and expanded the party and its base. Hillary built her campaign and fundraising on Clinton allies and expanded the anger among white women.

2) Obama promises to compete in CO, MN, WA, IA, KS (w Sebelius), VA, NM and NV. Hillary credibly promises she is more competitive in OH, PA and FL but is performing worse than McCain in places like WI, MN, IA, WA, ME and even OR.

3) Obama promises to bring new voters for down-ballot candidates and provide a massive and proven ground game for down-ballot candidates. Hillary will be death for down ballot candidates AT BEST continuing her husband's trend of losing governorships, senate and house seats. Simply put there's no doubt that with Obama as the Dem nominee people will trust the congress with more democrats.

Why would you as a superdelegate even consider Hillary?

You are so right. So much for all that experience she claims she has. But she doesn't know how to apply it. Thats why she couldn't pass her Healthcare reform!, with all that experience and her husband was President at the time. Give me a break! Also, I hope that people can see how dishonest & deceptive she is and that she will say or do anything to become elected. Now she is blameing Barack for Florida & Michigan, She claims that the voting was fair, and should count. She thinks that the candiancy should be handed to her not earned. She keeps changintg her strategy to keep up with Obama. When she saw how he was raisng money, she jumped on the band wagon and begged people to donate on her site. Obama speaks calm, so now she is trying to speak calmer. She keeps talking about action as if she isn't giving speeches herself. Its just that her speeches are not as effective as Barack!! She is the negavtive party, and any time Barack Obama defends himself, they cry wolf. Her campaign evoked the race issue, starting with Bill and Ferrro. She needs to know that people are watching her, and I hope that this campaign shed the light on this situation, so that people won't ignore her tactics!

I've been calling West Virginia for three days now. I'm at 80-something calls.

For some reason, I am getting nothing but Barack Supporters. And my script is not aimed for Barack supporters (I'm getting so many of them, that I'm literally checking my script every 20 mins to make sure that I don't have one of those states where I am only going to get Barack supporters, and I'm supposed to ask them to come to another state. But this is not the case!!!)

Here's my script:
ask who they support
>undecided, use talking points
>HRC/JM, have nice day (haven't gotten these yet though!!)
>B.O., make sure regisistered to vote, ask if want to voluenteer

I made about 60-80 calls to Colo. before the primary and rec'd 95% support for Obama. I asked the campaign leader "what's up with the list, everyone 95% support for Obama". I was told, "that's great, keep calling". We saw the results....keep calling

I don't have the, ahem, guts to call PA. It's just a little too close to NJ for comfort....I just do not get along with people from NJ for some wierd reason. And I've been to the state many times.

I even called one woman who'd just set up a HQ office there! And a few ladies, when I asked about voluenteering, said they'd be making phonecalls this weekend (before I even said anything about voluenteering!).

In my family we have FOUR generations of Obama supporters. My teenaged daughters have learned more about the political process than I think they ever would have in school. During the Super Tuesday month (Feb.), they sat and watched returns with me, they've listened to all Barack's speeches and we've even managed to convert my once Republican leaning husband!

I gave my 85 y.o grandma a bumper sticker the other day "Women for Obama" and my daughter helped tape it in her windown. She said, well that's a first for me, I've never had a bumper sticker. LOL...such a great time in history!

in 1912 Teddy Roosevelt's 3rd party won Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota and South Dakota, California and Washington

Wilson won 6.3 million votes (42%) were enough to garner 435 electoral votes. Roosevelt had 88 electoral votes to Taft's 8 electoral votes. (This meant that Taft became the only incumbent President in history to actually come in third place in an attempt to be re-elected

First, I find it unlikely that a third party candidate could win a state.
However, I agree with the other person (greenparty4barack? if I remember correctly) if the two main party candidates are competitive.

However, if there were a 5 % difference between the candidates (the main two candidates), then a person could win.

Most likely outcome is no one wins.
The reason for this is that in the recent past there are only a few states that either a democrat or a republican could win.

However, if Barack is a candidate, we could start to see a rewriting of the map.

Nevertheless, it is hard to see a republican winning california or new york...
It is not easy for a democrat to win Texas.

Honestly, it is about time. They are so pro-Clinton (minus Elisabeth), I have stopped watching (and I was an avid watcher.) Their information is way off in some cases. I find Whoopi to be very ill-informed about many issues. And Joy has one agenda - push HC whenever possible. Sherri has her more-balanced views, but is too weak to stand up to the others. The people that watch this show in some cases, get their only news and formulate their own views from this show. I think this interview will do him well, as older women are their main viewers and he needs to reach them. It should be interesting!

Yup - that's my point about Sherri. She says she voted for Clinton, but I am really not too sure if she just said that to go along with the others or if she was actually swayed by the Chelsea calls which were just a bit too much for me to take. It is just really, really sad that these women are as powerful as they are when they don't get all the information they need before they espouse their garbage (on any issue actually!) I miss Lisa Ling and Meredith..a lot!

I can't stand the View. I haven't watched in years! Elizabeth drives me crazy! I tuned in for about 5 minutes the other day though to see how crazy Elizabeth would respond to Obamas speech since she blasted him the other day. Her response was that he should have thrown his Grandma under the bus along with the Rev. Wright! Oh and she said that the chruch is selling the videos of their services so it must mean that basically hatred is what they preach! She is so ignorant! It must be so hard to be moral and righteous ALL the time! Since I haven't watched, I didn't know who everyone one was voting for. I thought all the other woman and nice words for Obama. Joy said it was nice to have someone speak intelligently for once (a crack at Bush). None of them (except Lizzy) seemed anti-Obama though!

Can anyone explain to me why CNN is using yesterday's Gallup numbers in that article. The article was posted at 12:55pm today. Today's numbers show Obama rebounding. It was 49-42 yesterday and today it's 48-43. It's moving in Obama's direction again so why are they still using yesterday's numbers? And why not cite the other polls (Rasmussen, CBS) from yesterday and today that still show Obama leading HRC by 3%?

It seems to me they are cherry-picking the worst poll, among a number of polls, and even using yesterday's numbers instead of today's to prove the point they want to prove.

Good questions, Lisa. I didn't know the other polls were showing him rebounding but I am VERY glad to hear it. (I really don't pay too much attention to polls though I'd love to actually BE polled just once...) I can't imagine any she would pull ahead of him even for one second. But I'm feeling especially caustic and angry with her today so I might be jaded. :)

The rumor amounts to this:

Mark Halperin of Time said that he heard a rumor that Edwards would endorse before the PA primary. One of Halperin's editors predicted that Edwards would endorse Clinton. That's the extent of it. Nothing but a rumor and an editor's opinion.

This is HRC's big push. They had the media attack on Obama and now they are touting the new poll numbers. IMHO Edwards has been wanting to endorse HRC for sometime now. I don't know why, it is crazy, almost all of his supporters have come over to Obama. I guess he has his reasons.

But although HRC won Ohio and won the popular vote in Texas with the help of Rush Limbaugh "Democrats" she gained almost nothing in delegates from these. And Obama has just taken one of the biggest, unrelenting and unfair media attacks of any campaign ever, one which amounts to race baiting, and effectively shut it down with a speech which is considered by many to be one for the history books.

If Edwards wants to try to damage Obama's campaign by endorsing HRC at a time when he thinks Obama is vulnerable then fine. Let him jump on HRC's ship and go down with it. Obama is very strong considering what he has had to endure from both HRC and the Republicans (getting hard to tell them apart). And we have a whole month to convince voters in PA and the other remaining states that nobody compares with Obama. Anyone who watches "A More Perfect Union" (and according to youtube over two million people have viewed it in the last two days - that's over a million a day!) with anything close to an open-mind can clearly see that Barack Obama would make an excellent President and that his two opponents don't even come close.

This has been bouncing around the internet for weeks now. However, I really think if this was the case, we would be hearing about it on all the major news outlets. And except for rumors, I have not read any kind of hard news confirming this.

If you remember back to other endorsements, we knew about them before they were official. So I don't think we'll be seeing a surprise endorsement on Leno tonight.

I saw Morning JOE and this morning and Dr. Brzezinski made the case for Senator Obama being the leader of the United States better than I have ever heard it.

I wonder why the Obama campaign didn't respond with something like this - it could have countered the image of this man being peddled by Faux and others as filled with hate and anger. I urge everyone to send to as many friends as possible - this will help a lot of people understand the other side of this man that Barack spoke about.

Thank you for the footage on Reverend Wright. This has to get out. Could Barack insist on this being played before he interviews? Make a real show of this.

Force MSM to share this somehow. Earlier in this thread a poster gave a very thorough rational for sharing this side of Trinity Church so that the public might understand better.

By the way, I personally wasn't afraid to examine the cause and effect of foreign policy decisions pre- 9/11. I remember we were all called "traitors" if we pondered any thinking other than the Bush/Cheney rational.

Nothing excuses the horrors of Al Queda, suicide bombing, or Taliban oppression, but I just remember so vividly the mood of our country, the fear of "unpatriotic" questioning of our mideast policy.

We know what that lack of free speech led to.

Thank you for your courage, Barack Obama. On this campaign journey, keep teaching us, telling us what we need to hear. We won't get it from anyone else. Do not be ashamed to share and explain the power of your church.

Thank you Reverend Wright for your brave ministry. When I listen to your words (not those taken out of context) I feel open to Christianty. That's pretty good from a non diety believing Buddhist.

This is a great, video. Thank you. It reflects the Christian values Rev. Wright inherited from his parents. Much like Barack Obama, he was a product of a bi-racial family. He knows and understands both White and Black communities. His experience is exemplified in this sermon, which is about Christmas and its celebration. It is unfortunate that TV as well as Radio stations and internet blogs grossly exaggerate extracting 30 second sound bytes to attack him, despite his 36 years service.

I am sure there are a lot of people whose parents are racist, especially the older generation. It will not be fair to demand that they disown or divorce their parents. You don't agree with them, but you love them no mater what they think or believe. The hypocrites will say that's different, I say I beg to differ.

You'll see that he's ahead in every major area where he needs to be ahead.

Channel that anger and energy into calling your friends, relatives, and strangers in PA and helping to close the gap. He's a closer and has always narrowed the gap prior to even the close races.

The MSM likes to quote that "HRC" won Texas. Well she lost the Texas Caucuses, and she lost the total pledged delegate count. In my book, that's a loss anyway you slice it. I don't even think they've added the caucus votes to the primary votes in Texas, so even that is distorted.

We have the best candidate, by far. Hillary is self-destructing as we speak. Obama has no where to go but up in PA, and once she releases her tax returns, it's all over.

Clinton senior strategist Mark Penn put out a polling memo today heralding a "shift to Hillary."

Peyton Craighill of the ABC News Polling Unit reports: "Mark Penn’s note is full of overblown claims based on current polling. He’s cherry picking numbers from recent polls. Much of his claim of a Clinton swing is based on the latest tracking data from Gallup in which Clinton is now ahead by 7 points. If you go back two more days Obama has a 7-point lead in a separate USA Today/Gallup poll. CBS has a new poll out today that shows a close 46-43 percent Obama-Clinton race. The CBS poll also has the match ups with McCain at 48-43 percent for Obama-McCain and 46-44 percent for Clinton-McCain. We see little indication of a shift to Clinton. Of the nine polls cited in his note, five of them are not airworthy."

Myself, when it comes to polls, I think of what a wise woman, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, said in January:

Don't be mad. Remember that there is still a lot of time before the primary.
Also, Barack really hasn't been rallying or campaigning hard in PA yet.
We all know that once he shows up, and people come to hear him speak, its all over. His percentage points skyrocket.
Also, who knows about those polling numbers anyway, who did they ask, what parts of the state were polled, what was the sample size?
Don't put too much faith in polls. Remember that people can virtually get polling data to say anything they want it to say.

Nobody likes the "blog police." There were a couple people on the last blog, though, that I felt made an important point about the tone of the blogs. It seems we're talking more about HRC and McCain's aide disseminating the Rev. Wright video than anything else. We've moved away from posts about donations, calls, canvassing, and other positive things that folks count on the blogs for. We do, indeed, motivate and uplift one another by talking about these POSITIVE things. And, they do seem to be showing up less and less on the blogs.

Many of us are upset with the media for going on and on about Rev. Wright--STILL. However, we're ALSO still going on and on about it. We really have to move beyond it, ourselves!

Can we do that? Can we drop Rev. Wright entirely? Can we drop HRC and McCain and get back to Barack and our efforts to work for Barack?

I think we can.

Although I think everyone is pretty much aware of the need to work for the campaign, and information is readily available all over the site for newcomers who want to get involved.

I think we should engage in respectful discussions about the failings of HRC's policy (maybe not so much her wardrobe and how she looks?? just a suggestion) and whatever relevant issues are in the news, including the speech, Rev. Wright, etc. Newcomers also may come to the blog to hear the Obama side of all of these issues, which is *not* represented in the MSM. We can engage in this between calls and donations ;-) "Donate! Donate!" is not particularly engaging either, it's redundant

In particular, I was *really* encouraged to hear the positive things about Rev. Wright and go to the links from his positive sermons.

I'm with Al Sharpton on this one: I challenge anyone and everyone to come up with one example of actual "hate" speech as opposed to politically radical views about the *government*. I bet no one can. That's a *really* important distinction that can't necessarily be emphasized by OC so it's up to his surrogates and us - and I think we *really* need to emphasize this on the blog.

Those Wright video links are vital. If we could embrace Reverend Wright, show how really "Christian" he is to the world, show his compassionate, self-help philosophy and how it worked to transform lives in his church, we could diffuse this slander that Fox and headline grabbing MSM is promoting.

it's really hard to base any predictions on polls. most undecided voters make their decisions in the 3-6 days before voting. you never know what can happen in those days. the best thing to do no is get the word out about who BHO is and what he's all about. that's your best bet on keeping ppl with him and bringing more on board :o)

It took just 13 people to achieve our fund raising goal, a number that was equivalent to the number of miles (586), one-way, that we will be driving to Pittsburgh, Fort Wayne, and Louisville in order to register voters and speak with them about Barack Obama. (In total, you good people raised $612!)

Now, we need to get home, but this time we’re not asking for donations, though funds are always needed!
Instead, we would like for 586 Obama supporters to pledge continued involvement AFTER January 20, 2009.
This involvement can take several forms:
1) Participate in local government by attending meetings and getting to know officials.
2) Stay in touch with Representatives and Senators about issues that are important to you.
3) Talk with neighbors about what they can do to have an impact in the community.
4) And for some, ask yourself if you are willing to serve in elected office.

Perhaps there is one issue that you could learn more about. Take the time to find out what others think about the issue. What are the different sides to the issue?
Which committee in Congress deals with that particular issue? Are there any bills before the House or Senate regarding the issue?

We know YOU are already involved. There are, however, some people who are new to politics and elections that don't know about the other things they can put their energy into.

I support Barack whole-heartedly, but I must disagree with one of his winners in his bracket. The Washington State Cougars are going to beat Winthrop. Come on Barack. The Cougars are a scrappy bunch. They are a team who has defied all odds to get a number four seed. They play as a team and play unbelievable defense. They are cool, calm and collected at all times. They never panic. I saw on the Cooper Anderson show last night that Barack was working on his brackets. For people who don't enjoy the insantity of this uniquely American phenomenon called, March Madness, I guess it's hard to understand. Actually, Obama's approach to this primary has been just like watching a surprise team come up and beat the predicted favorite. By the way he's managed his team, working on the basics, building a team rather than trying to be the lone star, he's created a formidable movement.

I pick Louisville and Memphis in the play-off with Louisville winning the championship. Now that's Audacity of Hope.

tonight, i spoke with a man. when the conversation turned to politics, and i asked him who he is rooting for, he almost hesitated in answering "i don't pay attention to politics that much but i know who i am voting for...obama" he thought that i might be for hillary. ((((as if : yuk : ))))) we began to talk he said barack is for my people, the class i belong to...i said the working class? yeah he said. i proceeded to go off on how obama is the only person that can unite the "parties" because of his gift, that he speaks to people without judgement as a real person. he told me, well, it was not anything in particular that he said but he talked about stuff like a real person. i said 'honest, real?' 'yeah' he said. i said "so you can just tell a decent person when you see them?" he said YEAH............i have never been about politics, but i like his stand on issues. he is like a real person. i said, yeah, we are so used to lies we almost can't believe it anymore, but he is real. if he were doing it for his 'career.' he'd wait. he is doing it for us. we proceeded into a long conversation about america, her goals, and hopes, and dreams. we are both parents of emigrants, mine from estonia, his from puerto rico. it was awesome. and, in fact, i was lovin' this guy. he had a simpler view than me, although it all came down to the DECENCY of character that we both could perceive in barack. and, i really liked him. if i all crazy fall in love, and am finally married to a decent person over this campaign, i will love it even more (LOL). we talked for three more hours, based on this initial conversation. me, a girl from an NRA hick town++a lot of Catholic HRC people, and him, a man from Hartford, who is into a "hippie stoner sport" (as he put it) (disc throwing) and drawing flowers. we bonded. it was cool. we talked about many things, but the starting point was barack's speech on race and religion. LOL. i am not some silly girl...in my seven years of separation, i have never felt this kind of connection to another person. haha. now, that....would be history.

Greetings all, tried to look at Barack's brackets however I use a screen reader called Jaws (used by the blind to gain access to their computers using synthesized speech), and it won't read image files, but that's OK. I know I had UCLA winning it all, and I picked Clemson, Memphis, UCLA and I think North Carolina? Well, I know I was wrong about Clemson, they're gone! I know one of my brackets I endd up doing horribly! I gotta check them again, though.

Anyway, this tournament is always funt ow atch fo rme and I do my brackets every year (usually on Yahoo, didn't know they had them here too, shoulda known though *smile*).
