I've made at least a dozen calls to LA and I've only talked to one actual person (lots of no answers and messages) and she had already voted. What kind of responses are other people getting?

Yes we really can because the other team is trying to win only by strategies. They do not have a specific plan for American people. They were continuously changing their speech and their campaign plan according to what is happening in the field.
-After Iowa, they decided to reach young people. They did not care about them before and they will not.
-They had a very unrealistic health insurance plan, and now they have tried to come closer to Obama's plan. They have realized that nobody would accept to be forced to buy health insurance when it is so expensive as it is now, and it covers almost nothing. Now they have added AFFORDABLE (like obama's plan) to make their plan more reasonable.
Meanwhile, Obama has the same plan that is in his mind from the beginning, and it will be in his mind as a president.
What American people are looking for is a very affordable premium health insurance.
Even in countries that have Universal Health Care, they do not make it mandatory, but it is very affordable for each one.
I do not know where the other team has got the amount of 15 million people left by Obama's plan. Could they demonstrate their calculation? Could they demonstrate, how they are going to process their mandatory health care. That is just talking anything without any basis.
In fact, they do not have a plan, but we do.

I am a young person and don't believe everything you hear. Hillary Clinton has reached out to me. She is inspirational. Obama is inspirational to many as well and so is Hillary. Being Negative only turns people off. I support hillary 100 % and like to see the negative things that people write and I am still trying to give Obama a chance to reach out to me if he is the nominee. I have hope when I think of Hillary and what she has done for our country and what she can do. I think Obama is great for inspiring a lot of people. He has proven he might win. I still support Hillary all the way and she is a fighter not a pacifist. She is a uniter she just doesn't preach, she works hard like so many women we can never be taken on our word we HAVE to prove ourselves every day.
Obama needs to require poor people to have health insurance. No poor person will opt for health insurance the gov't must provide subsidies to make it affordable. I know this as a struggling college graduate I never bought health insurance. I relied on Planned Parenthood and if I had to choose between health insurance and anything else. I would not pay for it.(It is like Social Security, if I could opt out I would! Is that good for me in th elong run probably not) As a healthy young person I would not get health insurance but I would never tell my mother that! Obama needs to fight not pacify the Right. YES THE COUNTRY NEEDS TO BE UNITED, one person can't do it all. WE ALL NEED TO DO IT FOR OURSELVES AND FOR OUR COUNTRY. No politician can bring our country together themselves. After 9/11 contrary to the media we were not all together. There were American's hunting Muslim people down, putting them in jail just because of their faith. That is wrong. I stood up for them. Everyone on this sight needs to be more involved. I am so happy Sen Obama woke you all up. Even if McCain wins you all need to be involved. It doesn't take a politician for me to speak up, I hope that all of you stay involved no matter what. This movement should be about love for our country and hope for a better

I just left my precinct caucus. I am soooo proud to report that the vote was 58 for Obama and 13 for Clinton.

We will send 9 delegates for Obama to our district convention.

It was an exciting caucus!

I'm calling Louisiana, too. Everyone I spoke with voted for Obama - or is heading to the polls. One lady's neighborhood is organized...they are all voting Obama and have car pools for the elderly.

I have an idea...today, all the script is for Louisiana is asking people if they have voted yet. This is a great time for anyone afraid to call to step out of your comfort zone with this simple script.

Anyway, my idea is when people say they are going to vote for Obama, ask if they want to help in future states. I'm going to start collecting phone numbers of people who want to help in future states, and keep in touch with them so I can tell them when and where the need is. What do you think?

That will help with our challenge in TX and OH, right?

I've been calling LA and several people said they had already voted for Barak or were going to vote shortly; but they also said they'd been called several times already by volunteers..4 times in fact. ?? they were kind about it; one man said he'd been talkin to many of "the guys" and said "yes...we're hopin for a change down here"
I will call my local organizer to find out why so many repeats. do you or does anyone know how the phone bank really works; they say it does work but would be good to have it work better!
And it will if we work on it together!!!!

I have talked to a few people in LA who received at least one call from an Obama volunteer today before I called....I agree that it's not great that this is happening, but at least it's much better for voters in LA and WA to be getting more than one call from us reminding them to vote, than to get no calls at all!

I'm really concerned by what is happening in Louisianna. Me too, I've only been to speak with 3 or 4 people out of 24 calls.

I've just listened (CNN) that young folks don't show up. They expect a 15% turnout, mostly old people and women. That's very disappointing.

Be aware that there are different call lists. There are 200-300 volunteers sitting at HQ in Chicago making calls 12 hours a day, along with those in volunteer offices in Boston, Californina, and the states that are currently voting. These volunteers use different types of call lists - registered dems, previous supporters of Kerry, etc...It is hard to know where your list comes from. Regardless, do not pass judgement on the outcome based on the results of 20 calls you make. One example...on the day of the Iowa caucus I made 306 calls at HQ. 45 answered and 5 were solid yes for Obama, 8 were still undecided, the rest were supporting other candidates. Obviously we know the outcome.
My suggestion to all...
1. Thanks for making the calls. Take pride in your work and ability to make a difference.
2. Don't make any assessments about the outcome based on the small proportion you are calling.
3. DO NOT discuss the results of your calls here. PLEASE PEOPLE! There needs to be a higher level of discretion. MSM watches this blog, other campaigns watch this blog. PLEASE stop sharing and discussing the results of your calls here.

I have made a TON of calls to New Orleans in the last couple hours. The majority of numbers I called I either left a message or the number was flat-out disconnected - probably about 80% of the numbers I called.

But for the remaining 20% of calls I made, where I was able to talk to someone, the majority of them have already voted, and the ones that hadn't voted yet were planning on heading out to vote within an hour or two after I called. And EVERY single person I talked to had voted for Obama (or was about to vote for Obama). Not only that, at least a few of them mentioned that they went out with a group of family members to vote, and everyone they were with voted for Obama.

I think that things are looking GREAT for Obama in LA, but I will keep making calls and trying to get as many people out to the polls!

I'm guessing, too, that because it's Saturday, people are just out running errands. I know when I got in my car to run errands, the in-car thermostat (that measures the outside temperature) said it was 91 degrees. As I drove around, it dropped a bit to 82, but it never dipped below that.

Okay, I'm in California, but the weather is FANTASTIC today for the first time in a while all over the country, and I'm thinking that Louisianans are doing what a lot of us are doing today: MILKING THEIR SATURDAY FOR ALL IT'S WORTH. They're voting, shopping, visiting, running errands, etc. They're NOT answering their phone at home!

GREAT NEWS FROM WASHINGTON: My brother caucused in Seattle, and he said it was super-duper organized, and turnout was GINORMOUS! He didn't think he was going to be able to caucus today because of work, but he and his wife were able to go! Two more standing with Obama.

I have to say that I have talked to a few folks who STILL DID NOT KNOW there's a primary going on there today. Each vote helps, and even if it's 1 or 1,000 people we let know they can vote today - it matters.

I'm mostly getting machines, no answers or disconnected numbers as well -- but I'm hoping some of those messages will alert more folks to the primary. Certainly can't hurt is my thought.

The large number of bad numbers is sad though.

..reality check folks....lots of LA residents were displaced after Katrina ....to Texas - Houston, Dallas, Ft Worth,etc...and the disconnected numbers may be because we will gain their votes for Obama in Texas and have already gained their votes in Georgia and Alabama where a large number of LA people were relocated after Katrina....so, there's always a Bright side for this...please do not give up and please keep HOPE alive....

...it stands to reason that Obama has already capitalized on the LA votes in Georgia and Alabama and will gain Hugely in Texas and possibly Ohio by this......and may have a large % of LA voters who relocated to Mississippi and other southern states after Katrina....stay focused and using your minds to THINK about the positive side of things!!!!!

....Keep in mind that Bishop Paul Morton, who had 3 locations for his church members in NO has now opened church locations in Atlanta....that's where a lot of Obama's votes came from...

...stay upbeat and positive.

I believe teens can really help us.
They are quite informed and know that this change is in their best interest .

-presence at rally's and streetside campaigns. There was a teen at one who received community service credit for her highschool here.

-phone calling, read the script!!! use your free cell minutes, aware of time zones/time your call at appropriate time, share your cell phone minutes wiht your parents or friends

-teens can help the college students for Obama.

-making signs

-downloading posters/etc from website

-and ESPECIALLY helping get the word out among facebook and other internet social groups.

-tell your teen frineds about Obama and try to get them so fired up that they convince their parents to vote for Obama

-donate. even 5-$10 adds another contributor to our ranks

-become involved in email campaign to superdelegates. we need a list of all their emails, could someone research this and post it for all of us so we don't have to all repeat the research

-create your own music for obama and post online. Also get this played on college radio stations

-have a talent show or concert and raise money

-wear your obama pin and bumpersticker

-team up wiht college studedts for obama

-start or join an online obama group from the obama page. start your blog

-write a paper on obamas movement for your history or politics class

-host a party alongside the college students for obama

- help register more people to vote in november

-become informed. many states have complicated primary and caucus rules, and help spread correct information to your family and other voters

-get obamas name in print anywhere...your school newspaper, a club newsletter, an editorial in your local paper, online. become a writer

-fundraising in your family, with the goal of EACH MEMBER sending in a check

-get interviewed on your local college radio station and talk about why obama is important for the teens future

The major difference I see between Clinton and Obama's health care plans is political. The Hillary approach is to demand what you want...propose your ideal plan, and then negotiate down from there. This approach instantly draws passionate opposition. A lot of people in this country don't like being told what they have to do, and her plan sets of alarms. Her plan would quickly divide the nation on health care instead of rallying the nation around it.

The Obama approach is to offer the nation something that would provide access to all without telling them what to do. People, when it comes right down to it, tend to be reasonable as long as they aren't blindly opposed to buzzwords like "mandate." Obama's appraoch to health care as broad appeal and takes the concerns of those opposed to universal health care into consideration.

This is an illustration of the very real and consequential differences between the political styles of Obama and Clinton.

Clinton = divisive
Obama = inclusive

And, she says that people cannot be denied for preconditions. This is good, but if healthcare is MANDATED, can she promise that premiums will NOT go up due to preconditions?

I HIGHLY FREAKIN DOUBT IT.

And, if healthcare is mandated and the government offers it, what makes her think that employers will not drop their group insurance plans?

I think she'd lose a lot of leverage to fight to keep premiums down and fight to keep group insurance plan s because she will have spent all her political capital on figting for a mandate.

The mandatory nature of her plan distracts from the much more significant aspects of health care solutions.

I think she said that she would CAP prices and Obama said he will LOWER prices! Capping prices that are already to high doesn't seem to make it more affordable so I guess she would end up having to garnish most wages.

Interesting. I see the difference as one between world views. Remember seventeenth century thinkers John Locke and Thomas Hobbes? Locke believed that men were reasonable and rational. Hobbes believed that men were in a a continuous state of warfare, battling with each to gain an advantage. Hobbes said life was "nasty, brutish, short."
Now think of the free rider issue in health care. What do you do if people do not subscribe to the plans? Hillary doesn't trust people to made a rational decision. She has to force them with a mandate, even garnishing wages to achieve her end. Her view is that of Hobbes.
Barack, on the other hand, subscribes to Locke's world view. If you make the plan affordable, people are rational and reasonable, and they will buy in.
Hobbes favored absolute monarchy. Guess what form of government Locke favored

I think it's more useful as a tool of persuasion in this primary to draw the lie at political tactics rather than monarchy vs. democracy. It's a hard sell to say that Hillary prefers monarchy, but it's painfully obvious that she prefers a style of politics that is by its very nature divisive.

I do agree, however, that Clinton and Obama have different world views. Clinton, with all her experience, believes that people need to be given help while Obama's experience has led him to believe that people need only the OPPORTUNITY to help themselves. But it needs to be a real opportunity and not simply the illusion of it.

You will find this interesting, if you haven't already read it....column by David Brooks from NYT.

"Moreover, the debate Clinton is having with Barack Obama echoes the debate she had with Cooper [Tennesee Congressman] 15 years ago. The issue, once again, is over whether to use government to coerce people into getting coverage. The Clintonites argue that without coercion, there will be free-riders on the system.

They've got a point. But there are serious health care economists on both sides of the issue. And in the heat of battle, Clinton has turned the debate between universal coverage and universal access into a sort of philosophical holy grail, with a party of righteousness and a party of error. She's imposed Manichaean categories on a technical issue, just as she did a decade and half ago. And she's done it even though she hasn't answered legitimate questions about how she would enforce her universal coverage mandate.

Cooper, who, not surprisingly, supports Barack Obama, believes that Clinton hasn't changed. "Hillary's approach is so absolutist, draconian and intolerant, it means a replay of 1993."

He argues that her more coercive approach would once again be a political death knell. No Republican will support it. Red state Democrats will face impossible pressures at home. It's smarter to begin by offering people affordable access to coverage and evolve from there."

That is an interesting article. I found this part illustrative:

On June 15, 1993, Cooper met with Clinton to discuss their differences. Clinton was "ice cold" at the meeting, Cooper recalls. "It was the coldest reception of my life. I was excoriated."

This is the point. This is part of Hillary's "experience." Her base of knowledge about how Washington works. She favors working out deals behind closed doors, and this is the kind of interaction that can grow from that...it certainly doesn't sound like "reaching accross the aisle" as she loves to say.

Obama would make sure that deals would be made publically. This is an important difference that will assure ALL people's concerns are addressed.

There is a feeling that Hillary's plan is superior simply because she says it is. Barack should stress that universal healthcare is not achievable nor is it practical. The Hillary plan focuses on mandates. This means that if you don't buy in she will dig into your paycheck. True universal healthcare is not achievable because there are people in society who don't earn money or who do so in illegal manners. You will have no way of enforcing a mandate with such people. According to Sen. Kennedy, there have been 12 universal healthcare plans to go to congress over the past 30 years, and they have all been rejected. Many people are afraid of socialized medicine.

Also, I have to wonder why healthcare lobbyists would give so much money to Sen. Clinton during this campaign if she really wants to cut their profits. Remember, George Bush promised to crack down on energy groups when he was running for president, even though the oil and energy lobbyists supported him. We see how that worked out.

As supporters, I think we need to know the issues and where there are differences between the candidates.

I'm sure Clinton's plan doesn't cut into their profits...telling everyone that they MUST have healhcare would certainly increase their profits. I would guess that most of us who don't have healthcare are more or less healthy, and we're gambling that we will be able to maintain that health. We see healthcare as a peace of mind that we simply can't afford. If it were affordable, we would buy it because it really does put your mind at ease to know that you are covered. It's all about finding that dollar amount where the peace of mind seems worth it for those of us who are already struggling to afford anything at all.

I was out canvassing in Arlington, Virginia today, and at one point, I wound up at the residence of a fiercely pro-war Republican. He insisted that we Democrats all want to surrender to terror. I calmly explained that all Americans want to defeat the terrorists, that we just have different approaches. Our approach is to concentrate on defeating Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. Nevertheless, this person kept insisting that we Democrats wanted to surrender to terror.

I found myself face to face with the consequences of distortionism. The fact that politicians such as Bush, McCain, and Romney insist on distorting the positions of their political foes creates a dangerous level of confusion and mistrust. By deliberately misrepresenting other Americans’ views on the matter of fighting terrorism, these three distortionists are actually undermining the ability of America to defeat the terrorists. These three distortionists are making the American people think that we are more divided on the subject of terrorism than we really are. These three distortionists are making it appear to the entire world that we Americans are more divided on the subject of terrorism than we really are. This behavior lowers the morale of America and our international allies. This behavior raises the morale of our international enemies.

The distortionism on domestic issues is harmful enough in its own right – but the distortionism on international issues at this point in time is absolutely deadly.

Fascinating, especially given that over our history Republican presidents are no more likely to declare war than are Democratic presidents. Hi everyone! Just came in from a day of canvasing in South Providence, RI. The ground crew of volunteers led by Ren and David are already organizing 3 days ahead of Obama staff who arrive on Monday.

Move in day for the RI HQ is on Monday! Organizing meeting on Wednesday 2/13 evening.

Lot of support and interest in S. Providence. It was cool to actually see signs up before you even knocked on the door. Everyone (volunteers and voters) were really nice, supportive and glad to see faces out there supporting the Senator.

If you haven't canvassed, I recommend it highly. You met great people, get to see some neighborhoods that you might not otherwise wander through and at the end of the day feel really good about how you spent the day!

So GET OUT THERE and WALK/TALK IT UP FOR THE SENATOR!

one of the things they taught us in Obama training for CA campaign was every supporter you talk to in person or on the phone, invite them to volunteer.
EAch voluteer , please find an assistant in 24 hours.
WE can make this happen only wiht everyone's help.
The more volunteers you can generate in the beginning the better.

I think they need to bring up constantly that she said she would possibly garnish wages. For those who work in small business, independent contractors, etc., that is a big deal.

We still have the democratic nominee to win for Obama...

CNN states that Obama fares better than H. Clinton against McCain because of the men vote. No other reasons given, such as Obama reaching independents and moderates of both parties due to issues, honesty, integrity, etc.

Also, CNN fails to mention that Obama fairs well to men and women, especially younger voters, much more than McCain.

At this point, the Democratic nominee has not been clinched yet, so this talk of matchups is useless.

I wonder if CNN by focusing on gender is trying to whip up more women votes for H. Clinton.

I understand Obama campaign wants to show our electability now that polls are in Obama's favor, but maybe we should ignore the polls and focus on doing things that got us here in the first place?

Another thing to watch out for, we risk losing core democratic base support by overstating the number of independents and new democrats that are supporting Obama, but wouldn't vote down the party line for H. Clinton in November.

The core (soccer moms, seniors) don't see much difference, if any, between H. Clinton and Obama, and may gravitate to the candidate that strokes them the best, and lean away from the one that sounds like a Party pooper.

I would like to see Obama campaign get endorsement of Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, if possible. I watched the guy last night on PBS and was impressed. The man on social issues sounds like he is Republican in name only, and should be on Democratic side. The DNC has stripped those states of their delegates. Their votes will not be counted unless they hold caucuses in later months. I have confirmed this. If they do hold caucuses, OBAMA will win handily.

Due to lack of Obama signage in several places, I put together a couple signs that are similar to ones I have seen around. I will provide links below.

First let me say that I am not trying to take any money away from the Unions that produce the Obama signage. I am providing links to these signs to allow someone who is not able to purchase one in time for their states primary or caucus to be able to show their support for Barack. I donated my time to create them. Please donate to the campaign if you use these.

It is critical that we get the word out now in Maine. I recently did some phone banking and I wanted to let people know not to be too afraid of doing it. Yes, I was nervous, but after a couple calls I settled into it nicely. So far I have only made 20 calls, but if everyone thinking about making calls made just 20 calls, we could really make a difference. I plan to make more calls this afternoon.

so often when i canvas door to door or on the phone the concern is who is more electable - who can beat the republicans - to me this is obvious. Obama can get the independents (like me) and the moderate republicans. Clinton cannot. She is a polarizer.

Also in the general election those clinton scandals will surface and the republicans will have a field day with them.

McCain will beat her on the character issue just because he is a war hero.

glad to see we are turning our attention to who is more viable candidate - since this is what is on a lot of undecided democrats minds.

Can anyone tell me (us) how we're doing in the Lone Star State? I know that the campaign has opened 10 HQ's across the state. However, there is a large Latino constituency throghout the state. Statistics show that Sen. Obama hasn't faired as well with this voting segment. Texas is considered HRCs latest "firewall", and she's favored to win it, in large part because of the Latin vote. She seems to be resting comfortably in that projection.

I called a friend earlier this week, who lives in Dallas, Ft. Worth. She was actually going to cast her vote for HRC. After a brief Q&A about why she was voting this way, she had no letimate answers besides "name recognition". Long story short, I made the case for Obama and she switched! We MUST win a "big" state soon, LET'S MAKE IT TEXAS!!!!

I believe whole heartedly, that if we can win Texas, it WILL change the entire tregectory of the race. Let's galvanize the votes in Texas and cause our friends there to coalesce around our candidate Barack Obama!!!

obama's been talking about how politicians and the pundits slice and dice the country into different interest groups: red states vs blue states being the most common division cited. obama's insight into america and politics as its practiced is that america is not that divided.

over the last few months, obama has been winning and the previously accepted divisions don't seem to be as relevant anymore (he wins white male votes, for example, in predominantly white regions).

the pundits are fighting back. they're now dividing the country by educational levels. they're saying it's a class war, with obama attracting well educated people and hillary the less educated people. this type of analysis (david brooks likes to analyze things this way) tires me out and depresses me.

obama's a guy who worked in desperately poor, urban ghettos to improve their lives. he worked to extend child healthcare to the poor people of illinois. the guy cast his lot with the powerless in society to try to lift them up. and now, the pundits are slicing and dicing again; and in so doing, stoking a class war. it's so bad.

What is taking Georgia so long to finish posting their delegates on CNN? Obama is going to get 20-30 more delegates from that state alone when that is settled, so the results are misleading. The projections in pledged delegates for Georgia were Obama 60, HRC 27. Right now there ae only 55 total pledged delegates reported to CNN.

Is anyone listening to the live feed? The governor of WA offered to do an interview and Jessica Yellin called CNN. In the conversation, she said, "Do you want to do an interview ... pause ... yeah she's for Obama so that's a problem." Then she found out she was live and went off on the audio tech. Then her mic went dead.

What can we do to make sure this comment is as publicized as the guy from MSNBC who said the Clintons were "sort of 'pimping out' Chelsea" ? It's been all over the news - but I think this is worse - Is CNN consciously trying to slant things towards Clinton by not taking interviews from people who endorse Obama? This is ridiculous!! I would watch MSNBC, but for some reason they have specials on - not even covering today for another hour on Tim Russett!!

What can we do? OBAMA HQ NEEDS TO BRING ATTENTION TO THIS - ASAP!!

When calling, please stress the importance of every vote and remind people in 504, 924, and 225 area codes that Barack has developed an extensive plan to restore New Orleans and the Gulf region.

I gather a group of confused elevator-seekers and make it back to the front of the building, and found someone else who lets us know that there isn't actually an elevator but there is a lift -- unfortunately, the lift is on the back side of the building, and the only way to get there is to walk all the way around the block that the building is located on.

The fact that the people running the caucus didn't discover this was a problem until at least 15 minutes into it was totally disturbing -- how many people had went looking for that elevator, and then given up? I know at least one of the women in my group of elevator-seekers didn't have a lot of English, *and* was looking seriously wiped out just from making it to the back of that main floor room and back.

I've always thought that the caucus system in Washington State disenfranchised voters --

the sizable chunk who simply aren't aware that their vote on the primary ballot doesn't count for anything,
those who can't get off work for the caucus (unlike polling places which are usually open much of the day, for a caucus there's really a set 30 minute period in which you need to show up),
those with transportation difficulties (for those who can walk, it's a great spot -- but for those who can't, there is virtually no parking, and street parking on that block is generally sparse to begin within on a weekend afternoon)

But the fact that I saw so many different barriers to successful voting even for those who *were* able to show up, that is just seriously upsetting for me. Not only were many people unable to figure out how to get to the upstairs room, but once within the rooms, it was pretty complicated to figure out where you were supposed to be going (there was a separate table for each precinct), and what you were supposed to do when you get there (there were sheets floating around you were supposed to sign in on, but it was too crowded for any lines).

On top of that, when I looked at the sheet you sign in on, absolutely no one else on my sheet had realized that the sign-in sheet is where you actually vote -- there was a box on the far right-hand corner where you were supposed to write in your choice for candidate, and no one else had filled in that blank at all. That part of the form was not labeled in the same way as the rest of the boxes (which had the standard, bold-faced, small print labels) -- instead, it said something like "Indicate presidential preference" in a very pale grey font across the background of the box. Given that we were in a crowded room with poor lighting (not to mention ventilation), and no instructions were being given, is it that surprising that so many people just had no clue?

The caucus-place was filled with volunteers from the Obama campaign, but they seemed completely unprepared -- they were not aware of the elevator situation until I pointed it out to them, and the mostly very young volunteers did not seem to be able to grasp the difficult barriers that many of the more diverse precinct population were facing in trying to vote. I will also be sending a letter to the WA State Democratic party about this, but I thought it would be useful information for the Obama campaign to have as well.

Very upsetting. We had a crappy caucus location in Kansas and it was freezing outside! My brother just caucused in Shoreline, where he said it was very organized, plenty of room (though parking was a hassle). He reported that his precinct went 59% for Obama, 41% for Hillary! I agree that caucuses disenfranchise voters, but I am hoping that this time around, things will go our way. Obama/Webb 08!

I would say that you should only contact the supers that represent you, at the district, state, or federal level, however.

Hi all,

Just got back from the caucus...in my precinct, about 37 people attended and we had a 3 delegates for Obama to 2 delegates for Clinton...but other precincts deciding near us were more overwhelmingly in support of Obama...

I'm going to be a primary delegate for Obama and will be attending the Legislative District Caucus, as well as the County conventions...yay! I gave a speech in support of Obama..the opposing group was composed of feminists who wanted a woman's perspective in the White House and those who talked about her universal health care plan..I rebutted that point, because how can universal health care happen without political power and sway in the opposing party? Both groups were firmly behind each candidate...but ours had more passion and momentum!

Click on the links and message comments and all of them seem to be coming back big for Barack.

Almost all precincts coming back in delegate counts of 3-1, 4-1, 6-2, 7-1.... I only saw one that had Hillary winning and it was at an old folks home...:)

Frankly I nothing against Hillary... she has a lot of baggage... but still I think she means well.... however.... I must agree with the comments from so many that this is a specail moment in history.... and we have the right person in Barack... sad that Hillary met this moment in time... for I would like to have a woman lead our country sooner rather than later... but not this time... even Teddy could see that America has a special person for today in Barack... I am independent voter... it would be crazy for democrats if they fail to see how positive this man, Barack Obama, can and will be for the United States of America... normally the masses get it wrong... but maybe not this time..
