HEADS UP!!!

Obama Supporters,

On Saturday August 4th, we will be honoring Sen. Obama’s birthday by throwing a "Barack Obama 46th Birthday Bash" events all across the states. We are asking everyone (258,000+++) to wear their Obama t-shirts, buttons, hats, and etc in conjunction with raising funds for the 3rd Quarter. Remember all purchases made through the Obama store at barackobama.com does count as donations. Please try to give at least a $46 donation in honor of Sen. Obama 46th Birthday.

Remember RECRUIT! RECRUIT! RECRUIT!

We need all 258,000+++ supporters to make this event effective and memorable for Sen. Obama.

Has anyone noticed that when you click on the Blog link, it periodically takes you to a (random?) community blog in my.barackobama.com?

Or am I the only one this is happening to?

I do not remember! I thought it took me to the Community blog. I usually just use the "View All Blogs" feature and check my group blogs.

Saw it a Senator Obama's You Tube channel earlier this morning. How do you embed videos in an Obama blog? I have a few pro-Obama videos that are not from his Channel, I would like to share here.

I just sent this e-mail to campaign headquarters. Anyone have any ideas?

MSNBC is advertising for homemade video campaign ads that they will run on their station. I would like to suggest that you begin a thread for ideas for an ad from all of your enthusiastic backers. Have everyone post their ideas and then after a short time, we can vote on our favorite. It can be suggested that people may want to volunteer to cut and edit the ad and submit it to MSNBC. This is great way to get some free advertising and to get everyone more involved in the campaign. I will post this comment on the current threads in the mean time with a suggestion for an ad. Thanks!

My suggestion for an ad:

Everyone get your video camera out and record yourself handing over a check towards the camera while saying, "I'm making a donation to Barack Obama's campaign because...(fill in the reason that you back Barack). If we could all upload our videos (make them short and sweet), someone who is computer savy could cut and edit them into an ad and submit it. I'll do some research and find out how and where...
