Got the box today! Y'all did a fantastic job--superb job organizing both the contents and the instructions. I cannot tell you how excited we are here in San Diego.

I have 30 walkers coming to home on Saturday. We're going to canvass my neighborhood and then throw a huge BBQ party for new Obama supporters, hard working canvassers, and any of my neighbors who have been angling to check out the new people on the block (we bought our home a few months ago). I figured, why not show everyone what this campaign is all about? Barack & Roll, baby.

The campaign literature looks so amazing--I just know we're going to get a ton of supporter cards and $$$ back to you.

Thanks again for all of your hard work. Getting supplies to over 1000 canvasses is no small task. Kudos!

Our Group got our material. we meet at the Dan Ryan Woods on 87th street in Chicago. We talked to everyone who would listen, We stood in the median on 87th street with registration forms and materials we received from the campaign office. When our group arrived we passed out the matierals and went over points to talk about . Obama for 08 posters. We talked to motorist and families that were picnicking. We passed out materials and signed people up for Senator Obama
campaign. I was really impressed by the out pouring of support for the Senator. People really want change. Many people blow there horns. Some stop there cars and ASKED HOW THEY COULD GET INVOLVED? I talked about health Care for all Americans, I talked to anyone and everyone who would listen. I felt so fulliflled at the end of my day. I would love to volunteer my time and voice again. Senator Obama gives me the audacity to hope.

Thanks, I was getting a little worried I wouldn't get it. I hope my box is empty when we are done on Saturday.

Maybe you could put an examples of completed forms on the website so I am sure how to fill them out...

Palo Alto, CA: The DHL delivery folks called me Wednesday morning to say they had some boxes for me but the driver couldn't find my house. I gave them directions and then asked who the boxes were from. The dispatch lady replied, quite enthusiastically, "Obama!" {GRIN}.

The boxes are well organized and give me confidence that I can pull this off. I'm having about 25 people and we're canvassing in the two most highly-concentrated democratic areas near us -- East Palo Alto and Stanford University apartments.

I feel like we're going to need a lot more literature than what we've received, but I may be massively over-estimating how far my team will get.

There's a progressive website called Democracy for America (DFA) in which it has a blog called Blog for America (BFA).

I've been a blogger on the BFA blog for quite some time and have ended up being one of only a handful in favor of Obama for President.

I have not received my box yet here in lafayette, Indiana. I made many other purchases to get ready for the big walk tomorrow, those purchases includes ink pens, clip broads, Obama's buttons and signs not to mention food and drinks for the walkers, I may even get some media coverage from the local news outlet. It's starting to look like Murphy's law is at work here, "What can go wrong will go wrong"

I didn't get mine yet. I'm going down to headquarters and pick up a box.

I live in a far west suburb of Chicago, so I'm lucky that I am close enough to get one...not sure what other locations are available for people who are still waiting.

It might arrive today, but I don't want to take any chances. We have people to talk to tomorrow!! :)

As of Friday, June 8th at 9:30am, I still have not received my box. I live in Northern California, Bay Area, and I see on the other comments that someone from nearby Palo Alto received theirs yesterday, so mine may still arrive today. I hope so! We can copy the script and canvassing "Do's and Don'ts" off the website, but there's no real substitute for campaign literature to hand out. The boxes should be sent earlier next time, please, and some substitute campaign literature should be provided online for downloading , just in case.

Hey everyone. It's Sam here. I'm going to try to correspond more frequently with you guys in the comments section.

Anyway, first of all, I just wanted to remind you that the only people who should be receiving boxes are those of you who had 5 or more RSVPs for your Walk for Change event. If you had 5 or more people signed up, you should have received an email from us confirming that you were going to receive a box.

For those who got this email and have not received a box, feel free to call our headquarters for more info at (866) 675-2008.
