Obama campaign manager David Plouffe today released the following statement in response to the Clinton campaign's latest attack:
Hillary Clinton said attacking other Democrats is the 'fun part' of this campaign, and now she's moved from Barack Obama's kindergarten years to his teenage years in an increasingly desperate effort to slow her slide in the polls. Senator Clinton's campaign is recycling old news that Barack Obama has been candid about in a book he wrote years ago, and he's talked about the lessons he's learned from these mistakes with young people all across the country. He plans on winning this campaign by focusing on the issues that actually matter to the American people.

I live in Switzerland and I was born in Switzerland, so I cannot vote for that desperateley needed change in America. But I can fire you up further still so that you make sure there's at least one more voice caucussing in support for Barack Obama in my place. Your work as a precinct captain is so important, not only for America but also for the world at large, that I can hardly start to stress this fact enough. We are standing at the threshold of a new aera of politics in America and hopefully in the world. With Barack Obama at the helm of the most powerful, the most resourceful and the most inspirational nation on earth the fall-out of such a bold new leadership will make waves around the globe and strengthen local politicians with similar attitudes. It may or may not be such a good thing that the early states are given such an important, almost decisive role in choosing the next US-President, but as it is, the world will look upon you and hope for the best, hope for THE ONE to be signed, sealed and delivered to Washington DC next year!
