Dear Rosemary,
Look at the last line of the following which is part of what the Pope said
in his message of Peace on New year's Day:
Early on, Pope Benedict notes: “Every form of externally imposed poverty
has at its roots a lack of respect for the transcendent dignity of the
human person.” A special area of concern, says the pope, is “child
poverty.” He points out that “when poverty strikes a family, the
children prove to be the most vulnerable victims: almost half of those
living in absolute poverty today are children….
If the dignity of women
and mothers is not protected, it is the children who are affected most.”
You and the Pope are plugged in to the same radio station girlfriend! Of
course, this is a universal truth that must ring around the world.
Maybe
you shoud quote him (the Pope) in your Obama blog.
I will forward the
reference to you under separate cover. It was initially sent out by the
Secular Order.

I must give God and Senator Burris a high five. Most of our citizen laughed at Senator Burris when in the midst of the fire,he along with other children of God held a prayer rally. Most laughed when he stated he was going to Washington because God appointed him to the seat.I recall someone who was commentating on the issue asked how far did he think he was going to get on God.I had learned on this journey for God that's it's a good thing when men think that you are crazy when you stand on God's faith. Most people are failing to see that things changed in 2008.God showed up on the steps of the White house and showed out.For those that missed the show he showed up at the Senate's door the doors were closed in his face.Told Senator Burris to go back out i need you to go weather the cold and rain to appease the crowd for a few minutes i know the load of this issue is becoming heavy and little embarrassing.I need you to hold on until tomorrow I'm going to light this furnace one more time. The furnace was lit and Senator Burris will be rewarded with that seat in Office,a seat in the Senate after losing 5 elections he never dreamed he would get a seat on the U.S.Senate in this lifetime.Just as many of us never dreamed we would see a black man elected into the office of
President of the United States.

It's great what the Pope is telling us I just pray that we as people are going to work hard on this mission.
We must all do what we can to help Barack and the Pope change the world. If we can find a way to alleviate poverty! This has been the root of most of the wars and the miss treatment of women and children. Now is the time for all of us to help in any way that we can.
Changes will happen if you help it will get better for all of us or if we do nothing things will get worse. Look how bad it has gotten when we did nothing it just shows you nothing stays the same.
OK Barack we are ready to help you help us.
