Howdy from Texas!

I've not been much of a blogger lately, but I've been busy. I've just finished tightening the screws on the site we'll be using in parts of Texas to organize volunteers and distribute materials. It will be a "one stop shop" for links, information and downloadable/printable materials for use with your own campaigns.

How can "out of staters" help? | Report to Admin

Hi! I live in New Jersey (and VERY disappointed in my state democratic voters), and want to help in any way that I can for Obama in the "big" primaries of TX and OH.

I've been afraid to make calls to TX, because I don't want to "offend" anyone by calling from the northeast.

Any ideas for me??

Just be *real*. Speak your heart. Realize that we've not elected a Democratic president in Texas for a long time, but that Texans tend to be reasonable people.

Be prepared to hear the "Muslim" smear. We had people shouting that at us from cars as they passed the other day.

Also realize that there is more support for Obama here than you might think. I was shocked at how many people honked their horns and cheered in support as they drove by while we were holding signs.
