Hi All. I am probably one of the biggest cynics on Earth, but I believe that this is the time to act.

My parents were political refugees who came to the states with the ideal of America as being a land of liberty and freedom. I would like to keep that a possibility, a work in progress.

I'm writing on behalf of the Obama Campaign. We are revving up for phone drives in the battle states Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico, specifically calling them to get out the early vote.

WHY THE EARLY VOTE? This is to ensure that we lock in these very important swing states. We have October 18 - October 31 to do this. 30 minutes of your time dialing and talking can impact the next 4 years. Can you handle for more years of Bush/Cheney Deregulation and Pro-War Policies with McCain/Palin? Please help yourself, your family, your future, and community.

We need these three states to push us over the 270 electoral votes to win the Presidential election. Though no one ever agrees a hundred percent with any candidate (it's a byproduct of having a mind of one's own in a free society), Obama offers the best broad-based and holistic solution to what the U.S. needs right now.
