The Republican Party and some conservatives in this country have a very nasty and offensive way of not only misrepresenting facts but making every argument as partisan and myopic as possible.
When last year the argument in congress was about immigration reform, these same groups came up with the same narrow minded argument about why illegal immigrant should never be allowed the path to citizenship even when some of them are taxpayers.
Now we are seeing the same kind of undesirable arguments and elements attempting to portray the current drive for healthcare reform into another sphere of argument that defy gravity and authenticity.
I careless as to whether somehow the healthcare reform might positively impact other human beings that may be in the country illegally but are contributing tremendously towards its socio-economic status, as opposed to the so called residents that perpetuate murder, drugs and other social vices that have caused great pain to the country and its citizens.
The passage of the kind of healthcare reform that President Barack Obama is proposing to the best of my knowledge does not in any way going to affect the conscience of well meaning citizens that love humanity and above all God.
Retrospectively the president has made it very clear the reform will not fund abortion, jeopardize those who currently have insurance coverage and above all it will help those who are uninsured to get coverage. What is bad in that conspicuously beat my imagination.
I am fed up with the Republican Party mentalities that are not becoming too troubling, partisan and myopic to the extent that nationalism does not count any more. It is also a shame that in the 21st century we are still being confronted by such dogmatic arguments that seek to protect the rich and most powerful and not the majority of Americans.
The irony of the whole situation is that a better citizenry will have greater and better impact on the generality of the country than the prevailing status quo!
We are all immigrant legal or otherwise and this is not the time to attempt to smear the legitimate and constructive quest of the president to revamp the healthcare industry so that it can truly become competitive for the benefit of the nation.
God bless USA
God bless Obama & Biden
