The national debt is $9.4 trillion today. http://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/BPDLogin?application=np Us youngins (+ those at heart) owe 30,000 each, but on what? For crumbling roads, schools, weak dollar, skyrocketing gas, and billions lost in Iraq. Guess how much the national debt was eight years ago? $5.6 trillion.
Woolly mammoth, under W and a Republican controlled congress lead by Sen. McCain, the debt grew by $4 trillion in only eight years!
Will you vote McCain or Obama?
Will you vote for the Senator that's demonstrated his economic acumen by irresponsibly increasing our debt by another $4 trillion, or the Senator we're not so sure of, and maybe that's a good thing this year. :^)
