Hello, Obamites. Or is that not a good thing to call you?
I have a confession to make: I am a solid supporter of John Edwards, but I want to get to know more about Barack and Michelle, and what a country run by such a man could look like. It is very likely, I think, that John may direct us to vote for Barack or Hillary, so most likely I will be voting for Barack in November.
However, I cannot change my vote in the primary at this point, as John can still win delegates, and his message is so important I am determined to continue my support of him through the primaries to get that message across and keep it in people's minds. I believe whichever candidate becomes president, if not John, he or she will be best served by putting John in some capacity in the cabinet, or even as running mate, if there is going to be any serious work done at all in Washington. Therefore, although I very much feel the pull to unite with you all here under the flag of Barack Obama, I will still exercise my right to vote for my choice of the best candidate I see for the Dem. Party in May.
Thank you for reading this. I hope you don't flag me as a troll, as unfortunately some on our own JE website have flagged some of you, when you seem to only be sympathizing and extending a friendly hand. I have often dug in my heels and given a stubborn reply, when invited here by some of you. Please consider that hand taken, now, by me, in a friendly handshake. 6:D
Good luck to you, and may the best candidate win!
Patty in OR
