In the debate last Wednesday--and elsewhere--Senator Clinton stated that she was embarrassed by the Bosnia fiasco, and she apologized for having depicted a situation that was untrue. Fine, apology noted. But I have one more question:
Why is she embarrassed?
Is Senator Clinton embarrassed because she told an untruth? If this is the case, then is she willing to explain why she would intentionally deceive her constituents?
Or is she emberrassed for being caught?
Of course, there is the possibility that she is embarrassed because she misremembered, which would raise questions about her ability to exercise appropriate judgment and leadership.
