Stay tuned for coverage of Senator Obama's speech in Tiergarten Park later today!

I am from Colorado, and my family and I are hard-core Obama supporters. We got a call from the campaign a few weeks ago asking to meet to discuss GOTV efforts. We set up a meeting, but the guy canceled an hour before we were supposed to meet. No problem. 2 weeks later, another call from the campaign. We arranged a meeting at Starbucks with our town's field organizer. We waited for a half an hour, even went to a nearby Starbucks to check, just in case, but she didn't show. We called her when we got home and she admitted, quite flustered, that she forgot. Well, we were disappointed, to say the least. Nothing would ever sway our vote, but we are just afraid that this could impact others' votes, those who aren't as firm in their support. A few days ago, we offered to donate furniture for an office opening in a nearby town. They made an appointment to come pick up some stuff, and we dug out some old picnic tables and cleaned them off. Well, they never showed. I think the Colorado ground operation needs to shape up. I wrote them an email (the headquarters here) detailing our experiences, but I haven't received a reply. I just want to emphasize that my frustration over these repeated incidents is aimed at the shoddy campaign, not Obama; I just want them to do a better job so that he has a good shot of winning my state (and the election).
