There was a whole lot of excitement amongst the 6,000 folks at the rally at the Riverfront Sports Complex in Scranton, Pennsylvania yesterday, as Joe and Jill Biden were joined by Bill and Hillary Clinton — for the first time since Joe joined the Democratic ticket in August.
The complex went electric when Joe and Hillary hit the stage -- and no wonder, as both Joe and Hillary have roots in Scranton. Joe lived in the area until he was eleven, and Hillary’s father, Hugh Rodham, was raised here.
Jill, Bill, Hillary and Joe each made remarks at the podium, speaking towards unity and victory for the Obama-Biden administration.
