Barack is in Ohio today, preparing for the third and final debate tomorrow night. But in late July of this year, he took a bus tour through the heart of Southwest Missouri, rolling through the towns of Springfield, Rolla, Lebanon and Union.
The state of Missouri is a microcosm of America, and it has the distinction having voted for the winning president in every election since 1960, and all but once since the dawn of the 20th century.
Barack's message at the time was the same as it is now: our country cannot afford four more years of Bush's failed economic policies -- policies that have rewarded the wealthy, and put a strain on working class families.
On the tour Barack spoke about "Economic Security," and it goes without saying that we've seen our economy go from bad to worse since last summer.
