Some people think that the only way to get involved in politics is to vote. Some people even dare to say that kids don't even care about politics or about who is leading our country. As a twelve year old, I thought that this was an unfair statement. In response to comments like this one, my brother and I started Kids for Obama. I wanted to show people that kids do care about politics. At the Kids for Obama kickoff in Chicago, kids drew picutes of Barack Obama and America. These drawings can be used for buttons and bumper stickers. The pictures are also hanging at the Obame Headquaters. It's a great way to get kids involved! I hope that our event was helpful to the Presidential Candidate and I hope to see him in the White House in 2008! Obama '08!
