Sitting in the hotel lobby, I prevailed upon a friend with a computer for a few moments online....We had a great breakfast - The Gov fired people up at 7:15, pretty good, as everyone is operating on about 2 or 3 hours of sleep a night. Norm Dicks talked about his favorite subject, money, and got in some plugs for Puget Sound clean up.
People are meeting and greeting in the lobby, as folks arrive from Washington, Oregon, or Arizona (with whose delegations Washington shares the hotel) for the big speech tonight. The lobby is electric at 12:30 p.m., just imagine what Invesco will feel like in a few hours.
I estimate about 5% of the Clinton folks convention-wide are hanging onto their heroine. I don't totally get it, but we really need to bring them in over the next few weeks. Five percent is five percent.
Just got a call from Abby, who is on her way to the Convention Center for the Youth Caucus, so I gotta go. If you readers out there have picked up even a smidgen of the energy of Denver that I am trying to convey, this girl will be even happier Iif possible). I will post again when we get home to Pearl from Invesco. Love ya, Earth Mama for Obama.
