Post from Misty Fowler's Blog:
Salt Lake City Walked for Change

Our Walk for Change didn't just make the news here, here, here and here. We also got shown a little love from Campaign Headquarters. Check out the latest official blog.

Thanks so much to each of you for the support that has been given. Even those of you that didn't make it Saturday have still helped in other ways that made this possible. Helping with previous events, coming to meetings, even blog posting. All of your efforts led to the incredible success that we had.

Together, 30 of us knocked on at least 979 doors. We made contact with 406 of them. 27 people returned Supporter Cards, and 25 indicated that they would like to volunteer with our group.

Below are photos that were taken. If anyone took other photos, please let me know.

We had a bit of difficulty with our location. Sugar House Park roads were shut down for a bike race. Several of our members did quite a bit of hiking before finding us. But, there was a lot of enthusiasm from everyone, and the result was excellent! I'm hoping some of the attendees will blog and let us know what their experience was like. The reports at the end of the day indicated that there was a lot of excitement about Barack, and there were even a few people who had heard on the news that we were coming, so they were waiting in their front yards when the Walk volunteers came by.
