Barack began his full schedule of events today at the Pentecostal Temple Church of God and Christ in Las Vegas. The church filled with music and song as Barack entered the hall. Before Barack addressed the congregation, Pastor Leon Smith said this:
I just changed my support in the last 72 hours. I have faith in him. And I'm hoping he can sweep this country with nothing but change. Soon enough I look forward to going to Washington and meeting with President Obama.
Barack took to the pulpit and called on the congregants to stand up at this critical moment in American history. Before finishing his speech Barack reflected on a sermon he gave down in Selma, Alabama.
God told Moses that the torch would be passed to Joshua. Joshua was going to lead the chosen people to the promised land. When Joshua found this out he was scared. But God told him that it was time for a new generation to take the lead. Today is no different, it is time for the Joshua Generation to lead. I am part of that generation but no Joshua can lead without those behind him.
