Stopping my recurring donation in protest of FISA vote

Subject says it all. I've contributed $834 or so dollars so far this campain, largely on the back of that preset contribution. Of course, I was contributing to the guy who taught the Constitution and would protect the Constitution and the rule of law. Someone let me know if that guy ever shows back up.

Good luck making $50 mil in july.

I know how you feel because I too have been distressed by the vote on FISA. However I still hope that as President, Obama will support the Constitution and correct previous serious mistakes.

He is the best candidate we have and although I do not always agree with him I will definitely vote for him and support him in the months to come. I also agree with his foreign policy (particularly visiting the West Bank).

All of these contributions are strictly voluntary, and people who have contributed before certainly have the right to refrain from continuing to do so. To me, the premise that Obama no longer respects the Constitution and the rule of law is clearly false.

The next president will be either Obama or McCain. Neither of them is right or wrong 100% of the time, but I am confident that the Constitution and the rule of law will be in much safer hands if Obama, rather than McCain, is elected president this year.

I hope that the disappointed former contributor will still vote for Obama in November.

Absolutely plan to vote for Obama. I will also work for him once the GE starts. However, I'm in Chicago, so he's also my Senator.

Those of you who "see no wrong" in your candidate, please wake up. You're no different than Dubya dittoheads, except that you agree with me more often.

I understand why Obama voted the way he did. There's no doubt that if he'd voted against it McSame and the repubs would hammer away at two talking points: "mos' librul sendurr" and "soft on turrists." They're going to do it anyway, but this vote puts some clamps on that actually sticking.

I'm only doing what he asked us to do: hold him accountable for his actions and his votes. I will still work and contribute, but this action is still against the values I hold dear, and I will respond to it. Not to do so is antithetical to the campaign's whole premise.
