We had our second open house at the new Volunteer Head Quarters! It was GREAT! There were about 50 people there to learn about what we are doing here everyday. Everyone in attendance received a tour of the office, as well as refreshments. I had the opportunity to lead this meeting which began shortly after the office tours. I went over many of the programs that we have going on in this office as well as the larger programs such as the Sister City Program. Many of the people in attendance were so excited to get involved that we found them a phone so that they could begin promptly. The open house was full of excited supporters! It was fun, stop by!

Megan,

Congrats on opening a new office! Can you tell me what you did to open the office? Did you talk to anyone at the Obama headquarters in Chicago, and who and how did you communicate with them? What information, services, and products do you offer? Can you get a discount on bulk orders for Obama support products (bumper stickers, buttons, etc.? I am located in Manhattan Beach, CA (suburb of L.A.) and me and about 15 other supporters want to open an office. Please send any info you have.
