I just experienced my first Nebraska caucus! The negative part was that they didn't expect to have the turnout that they experienced in my county and there was only one location selected to caucus. The line just to get into the location was a 25+ minute wait. The parking lot at the high school was completely filled and people were parking on the grass and along access rodes. It was freezing cold outside and when we got inside, it was unbearably hot and stuffy... hard to breath. People were literally afraid that they were going to pass out! Then, when we got in, we waited more than an hour before the caucus began and we were moved 3 times before we could actually show our support for our chosen candidate...Barack Obama!!! The absolute best part of it was that when we were asked to move to the area to show our support, the Obama supporters out-numbered the Hillary supporters by 80%!!! The Hillary campaign gave out many signs and unfortunately the Obama campaign said that they were only given a few signs and they ran out quickly. Although it was not well planned out, it was amazing and worth every minute after my vote was counted! We are ready for change and Obama is the man who can make it happen! Go Barack!!! Nebraska supports you as our next President!
