This morning when I went to this web site, as I do every morning, I was greeted with a plea for yet more money. As one of the millions who lost a job this past year and after working since I was 14 years old being unable to find work and yet finding money to donate to the campaign because I felt it was important I find this constant asking for more money to be an embarrassing. There are many other ways those of us who are financially strapped can still and will continue to help without giving money. I hope there is a level of understanding why some of us can not give money every time we are asked.

I think they need money and what better way to get it than to ask. If you can't donate money, do what you're doing and donate your time. They shouldn't stop asking just because not everyone can give.

Hi Katherina, I know you are right. I just feel bad that there is so much to do and I am unable to some of them. I don't ever want to feel like I am not doing all that I can. In my heart I know I am doing everything I can but there are times I feel inadequate.
THANK YOU |

Dear Marylin,
I hope your food stamp situation at least has been resolved – I just read your first post here from august I believe. Being unemployed is horrible when one needs a job badly. I was thinking about it this morning. I think I was really depressed in the past only when I could not find a job for very log time, as was in 2003 and also 2007. Keep strong and keep spirited despite all that. Do not get depressed.
As for donations here on this site, I never really felt pressed to donate. You are most welcome here no matter what, because you are an Obama supporter, because you write great sincere and original posts. Because this is a site for every American. Everybody, matter of fact.
Thank you for trusting our movement. You are part of it now.

Thank you for your kind words. My food stamp situation finally got resolved with the help of my wonderful Senator from the great state of Florida, Senator Bill Nelson. If anyone in Florida ever needs assistance with a Government Agency I strongly suggest calling upon him. He is the best. For all others, call upon your state Reps and Senators, they do help us little people. I always stay upbeat because there are people worse off than me and I feel fortunate to be communicating with people like you and just being alive and healthy are a gift in itself.
