MY CONNECTION...

I continue to be excited about supporting Sen. Obama as a Delegate from my town of China Maine. When we held our caucus during the winter months. I was one of six delegates for Obama...three for the other candidate. Before becoming a Democrat, I was an independent (and feel independent) and in the past, I've been a member of the Green Party and sometimes Democratic party so I could "primary" vote. I have never been to the Maine Democratic Convention and I am excited to meet others and see what it's all about. I sent in my registration for the convention and got some info by usps mail.

LITTLE PROMOTION of MAINE CONVENTION

I am surprised that the Maine Democrat website currently --a week before the convention -- has almost no information about the upcoming convention other than a note on the calendar. Ya think that their home page would mention this important upcoming convention!

MAINE SUPERDELEGATES...

Also it appears that Maine Superdelegates have not yet made their decision as of 10 days ago in
the Kennebec Journal

I understand that our Governor Baldacci supported Sen. Clinton.... I have sent him an email on the state website encouraging him change his support to Sen. Obama and follow the majority of Maine people who chose Sen Obama at the Caucuses. YOU can do the same and Contact Governor Baldacci

CONVENTION(al) EXPECTATIONS

Anyone with more knowelege about Democratic State Conventions and particularly the Maine State Convention, please post your helpful thoughts about participation.
