The pre-paid credit cards are traceable.
hey have a card number on them just like any other debit or credit card which was applied for through a bank or loan company or savings institution. They have to be registered when purchased at the counter in order to be activated.
If Master Card and Visa and AMEX makes these for gift card purchases, then they have a paper trail of every purchase made and at every store they were made--even if they don't have the purchaser's name. The purchaser has a receipt for their purchase and can be brought forward. Anything that doesn't show up with a receipt gets rejected.
In other words, if they are accusing Obama donations of possibly being from "bad sources" the burden of proof is on them to prove they are--and they can't prove it. They're just preparing for a legal showdown Tuesday if Obama wins by stirring up a can of lies ahead of time to provide a backdrop for issues they themselves created and caused.
If they're so "up" on fraud and bad donations that can't be traced, it means they've done it themselves. Many times. As my granny said, "If a man accuses you of cheating and you KNOW you're not--you might want to take a deeper look into what he's doing." He might be telling on himself.
There are about 50 different ways those debit cards can be tracked down--they come through legal American banks. This isn't a government that spies on its own citizens and doesn't know how to track down the sources of credit card purchases, even if they ARE unregistered gift cards.
Besides, Obama can give it all back today if he wants. His campaign is, literally, IN THE BLACK. He's already slated to win on Tuesday without having to spend another dime. McCain and Palin have been doing all of his campaign spending for him, anywhere from inciting race riots and violence against a presidential candidate to heaven only knows what else out of plain pure jealousy.
Had they ran their own race on the issues instead of attacking Obama as a man, he might have had a bigger and more contentious fight on his hands; but they shot themselves in the feet and the mouth, thrashing around on a race card that likely cost them this election as it cost Hillary the primaries.
As to the charges of voter fraud:
In the early voting and absentee voting processes, your address does not determine where you get to vote. Your precinct address only counts on 11/4, if you wait that long.
I voted two weeks ago with my ID card in my hand which was checked by trained and sworn pollwatchers--in an all-black precinct. Had I waited until November, I would have had to vote in a neighborhood where my vote could have easily been shifted to the Republicain party without my even knowing it. That's how they roll. So when you DO vote, check and re-check your every vote and call a pollwatcher if you see anything funny going on.
Obama's a lawyer. He knows how those people got screwed in Florida. So, his only words were "Vote early," "vote absentee." And, I might add: Don't go running down to the polls at the last minute screaming about how you didn't get a chance to vote. The polls are open from 7 am to 7 pm and everyone in line by 7 pm has to be allowed to vote - period. It's federal law.
The police and sheriff's departments in Georgia sequester people on election night and lock them in all night and stand over them watching the vote count. One false move, they're under arrest, so they can't cheat because their IDs were already checked and matched and re-matched against the original registration cards.
The GOP is raising a stink about it because it's the same tactics they used to steal the election for Bush in 2000 when they themselves weren't being watched because the right people didn't care when they should have cared, accept for ACORN. The GOP knows all the tricks because they invented them, and on Tuesday night, we'll have to thank them for teaching us everything they did so that we can be on the lookout in the future.
Now everybody's being watched and that's a good thing. Obama's a very very smart man. He didn't go to law school for nothing.
I.e., if there's anything fraudulent going on in either issue-voter registration (who can't vote without an ID) or bad donations due to their untraceability, check the Republicans. They sent in voters for Hillary because they thought they'd force the vote because she'd be easier to beat. Can't put anything past them.
The security cameras in the stores where those debit card purchases were made have a little show'n'tell feature that won't quit, with a date and time stamp for all purchases. I'd bet you will find Republicans and/or paid Republican operatives steering that Fraud Ship. They would have had the money and the time to spend purchasing "untraceable" prepaid debit cards like that--it's the only way they would have known what was going on.
