I'm not sure how many conservatives care whether it is Obama or Clinton; there's not really a lot of difference between thm; Clinton has a little more experience, but they both stand for essentially the same things. I think that she would probably deal better with terrorism; but maybe Obama would change after the US is hit with a few acts of terror (if we pull out of Iraq and back off the Patriot Act, it will happen).
I've been recently watching Giuliani make some speeches, and he deals with specific issues in specific ways; he is not afraid to speak his mind, whether conservatives agree with him or not (abortion is an example of that). I find him to be far more genuine than Obama and more likely to take a stand, whether it appeals to his audience or not.
I watched the Democrat "debate" and I will also watch the Republican debate. If they don't answer the questions put to them, I will be disappointed. If they avoid a question a veer off into talking points, I will be disappointed. But if they answer questions with specific and clear answers, not with talking points and not with vague platitudes, then I'll cheer them on.
Some of you should watch.
Pay attention to the question; pay attention to the answers.
I am sure many of you will not like some of their answers. But notice: do they answer the question asked of them and do they answer with specifics.
Think critically; think logically. Don't cheer on a candidate simply because he tells you what you want to hear; anyone can do that.
