So I went to the DSVC 4th Annual design conference this past weekend and had a blast. I'm in college for Graphic Design, you see. Anywho, they had some cute little contests available during the breaks like guess the font, Name that PMS color, and Name that logo. For this last one it would only show you an up close piece of each logo and I was very happy to realize that they included the Obama "O." I totally got it right away, even though it was in black and white and only showed part of the three lines :). I shared it will some of my classmates and apparently a lot of us won because of it. The organizers seemed to think the Obama symbol would be a deal breaker and wondered why so many people got it. I would like to think it's because more of us are paying attention to politics, but I can't say. Oh and the designer from Modern Dog who spoke at the conference actually announced her Obama preference! I thought it was great to see some politics filtering through so many levels of our lives.
