Well, if health care drags on the public will see it as wasting time and the moderate democrats should pass health care not back off and have a wasted year to show for it! Any health care is ok as we want preexisting conditions and the uninsured covered and we have consensus on this! Who wants to drag things out? The losing political party wants to fo into 2010 without any accomplishments that will sway voters. So democrats who do not agree and get things done had better take botice! Voters will not care to keep a majority democratic Congress if they can not work together. The majority democratic Congress should prove to the voters that having an Excutive branch and a Legislative branch of the same party can break the gridlock of partician politics! If they can not stick together on healthcare like the republicans do then why do they thinh voters will turnout to vote for people who waste their opportunity to break the gridlock of partician politics? Get healthcare over with this year and get. Immigration over with early next year by introducinh it this year so we can have time to build up democratic grass root mega voter turnout in 2010 because we see the value of maintaining a majority Congress of the same party as the president! The majority must get something done by sticking together and move on to the Mexican vote to capture that voting group early as waiting is falling into a republican trap! President Clinton worked with a republican congress and he did not yield to the temptation of taking us to war in Africa when there was genocide so he could balance the budget. He lost on healthcare but he is remembered for leaving the USA prosperous and not in a position of vulnerability to financial collapse by China who holds 28 percent of our mortgage loans!Use it or lose it!
