Initially, censoring forever the photos and documents related to the torturous affairs of the Bush Presidency, and now embracing indefinite detainment seem to be Bush/Cheney policies. Would we have voted for Obama if these were his platform promises?
Can anyone tell me how human rights based agendas such as health care and the closing of Guantanamo are aided by antagonizing the human rights base which had everything to do with getting Obama elected? If I didn't know better- and I might not- I would say that Obama has already decided he doesn't want a second term.
