As posted here in this great forum for software techies like me,
http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=09/05/11/2159212&art_pos=18 we clearly see a slight problem with our current ATC systems.
As I have said before, this is the place to make a difference, if we hold up our hands and ask to speak, maybe the President will listen.
The ATC system is currently vulnerable to attack by terrorists, and whether this responsibility falls on xxx shoulders, we should ask the Government step in and create a more aggressive program for keeping organizations like these in check.
These are the ones responsible for letting 9/11 happen!
Let's force them to update all their equipment , hell with the prices of tickets these days, I am sure they can afford it!
Anyhow, thought it might be worth while to mention, that should any President really want to make a difference , this would be a sure way.
Bring in a policy that allows them to update their system, maybe offer a sort of tax incentive to do so, but at least make it part of the journey towards a safer USA!
