My decision on who to vote for in this year’s presidential election has been teetering back forth until this past weekend. The minute I heard who John McCain had selected for his VP running mate I knew I would be voting for Obama. I love the wild animals and areas of America. Sarah Palin supports the aerial killing of wolves and bears in Alaska, even though Alaskan voters have twice petitioned and won a place on the state ballots to permanently stop this cruel slaughter. Palin has clearly demonstrated that once she is elected she is a whore to the special interest groups, the big boys, the oil sheiks of America. Her political stand is to screw the earth and all creatures that live on it. She doesn't believe in global warming, she must be blind because the Arctic icepack is melting right in her own backyard. She support's arctic oil drilling. Her favorite activity is probably clubbing baby seals each spring. In fact, I bet she personally sends out the invites to her 'special' friends and passes out the clubs.
Obama’s got my vote.

This sort of attack is not productive. Name calling ("clubbing baby seals") is childish. As an elementary school teacher for the last 34 years I must say that I place your comment as typical of a second grade mentality. There are plenty of issues to discuss, and of course, disagree upon. But, always be polite and respectful to those who may not share your POV. Push the issues, not the media hype on Palin. Senator Obama can be attacked (unfairly) on personal issues (past associations) which have nothing to do with how he will serve as our president.
Take the high road and leave the muck and mire of the low road to your opponents; as does Senator Obama.
